MAURON MUSY Unveils MU09 NODE° With New Manufacture Movement and First Integrated Bracelet

Independent Swiss watchmaker MAURON MUSY has introduced the new MU09 NODE° series, a significant milestone for the brand that combines its first manufacture movement, first integrated bracelet and signature gasket-free water resistance technology into a new 41mm Grade 5 titanium timepiece.

Announced from Saint-Aubin, Switzerland, the NODE° collection marks a major evolution for the independent manufacturer, which has spent the last 13 years building a reputation around technical engineering and unconventional watchmaking solutions.

At the centre of the new collection is the all-new Calibre MM03, a proprietary micro-rotor movement that has reportedly been in development for more than a decade. The movement powers the NODE° series while showcasing MAURON MUSY’s growing ambitions in haute horlogerie and in-house watchmaking.

The new series also introduces the brand’s first integrated bracelet design, machined from Grade 5 titanium and engineered as a seamless extension of the case architecture rather than a separate attachment. Combined with the lightweight titanium construction and sculpted geometry, the bracelet gives the watch a more cohesive and contemporary profile on the wrist.

One of the defining features of the NODE° remains MAURON MUSY’s patented nO-Ring® sealing system, which eliminates the need for traditional elastomer gaskets to achieve water resistance. The brand developed the technology entirely in-house as an alternative approach to conventional waterproofing methods, and it has become a core part of MAURON MUSY’s identity since its founding in 2013.

The new NODE° series delivers water resistance up to 20 ATM while maintaining the brand’s signature engineering-led case construction.

According to MAURON MUSY Co-Founder and CEO Christophe Musy, the NODE° project was designed to represent a moment of coherence for the brand after years of experimentation and technical development.

“The idea behind NODE° was to reach a moment of coherence,” said Musy. “Over the years, the focus progressively moved from the architecture of the case toward watchmaking itself. With the Calibre MM03, everything finally comes together.”

Visually, the NODE° embraces a semi-open dial layout that reveals parts of the MM03 movement architecture, including a bold angular balance bridge positioned at 9 o’clock. The movement itself measures just 5.5mm thick and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour using a free-sprung balance with inertia screws.

The calibre also incorporates 32 large-jewel bearings set in traditional chatons and is powered by a tungsten micro-rotor mounted on ball bearings. Despite its compact dimensions, the movement delivers a substantial four-day power reserve.

MAURON MUSY says every surface that can be hand-finished receives artisanal finishing, reflecting the brand’s effort to combine modern micro-engineering with traditional Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship.

The new 41mm case has also been redesigned specifically to work with the integrated bracelet architecture. While retaining the bolted design language associated with earlier MAURON MUSY models, the NODE° introduces a smoother and more fluid overall profile with a case thickness of 12.8mm.

The integrated bracelet itself features brushed surfaces contrasted by polished hexagonal details positioned between the links, creating visual depth while reinforcing the sculpted industrial aesthetic. The bracelet tapers ergonomically toward a butterfly clasp, while buyers will also receive an additional rubber strap with a folding clasp for added versatility.

With the MU09 NODE°, MAURON MUSY appears to be moving beyond being known solely for its unconventional gasket-free case engineering and positioning itself more firmly as a complete independent haute horlogerie manufacture.

The MAURON MUSY MU09 NODE° is priced at USD 61,200. The watch is an exclusive release, limited to just 300 pieces per year.
