Louis Erard unveils a new chapter in its collaboration with designer Alain Silberstein with the launch of the Hall of Fame collection. This concept redefines how creative partnerships evolve in modern watchmaking. More than a single release, this new platform is designed as a long-term ecosystem that celebrates enduring collaborations while introducing a fresh approach to rarity and availability.

Making its debut within this framework are two distinctive timepieces, the Smile-Day Date Blue and the Tourbillon Régulateur Blue. Both watches bring Silberstein’s unmistakable design language into a refined and contemporary context, combining expressive aesthetics with thoughtful execution.

At the heart of the Hall of Fame concept is a shift away from traditional limited editions. Instead of one-off releases that quickly disappear, these watches are integrated into Louis Erard’s permanent collection. Production is carefully controlled annually, with up to 250 pieces of the Smile-Day Date Blue and 50 pieces of the Tourbillon produced. This approach strikes a balance between accessibility and exclusivity, allowing the watches to remain attainable while preserving their collectable appeal.

The design remains unmistakably Silberstein. Known for his playful yet highly structured approach rooted in Bauhaus principles, his signature elements are present throughout both models. A deep blue sunray dial serves as the foundation, creating a rich and luminous backdrop for bold geometric forms and vibrant primary colours.

Time is displayed through a trio of distinctive hands that have become synonymous with Silberstein’s work. The red triangular hour hand, white arrow-shaped minute hand and yellow serpentine seconds hand create a composition that is both visually striking and highly legible. It is a design that transforms the reading of time into an experience, blending clarity with artistic expression.

Despite their strong visual identity, both watches are designed for everyday wear. The use of titanium cases ensures durability while keeping the watches lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. Paired with a heathered blue nylon strap featuring a hook-and-loop fastening system, the overall design feels modern, practical and easy to adjust, reinforcing its contemporary appeal.
Through this collaboration, Louis Erard continues to position itself as a curator of modern watchmaking expression, bridging traditional Swiss craftsmanship with independent creative voices. The Hall of Fame collection reflects this philosophy clearly, focusing on pieces that are not fleeting novelties but enduring creations designed to evolve and resonate over time.
The Smile-Day Date Blue and Tourbillon Régulateur Blue are priced at SGD 6,980 and SGD 27,730, respectively, including taxes.
