FUJIFILM Corporation has unveiled the instax mini Evo Cinema™, the latest addition to its hybrid instant camera Evo series, set to arrive in Singapore on January 28, 2026.
The mini Evo Cinema blends retro charm with modern technology, allowing users to capture both still images and videos, and instantly transform them into tangible instax™ prints.
Capture Memories in a New Way
The mini Evo Cinema offers an immersive photography experience with its hybrid system: users can compose shots using the rear LCD monitor, select their favourite frames, and print them immediately.
Videos up to 15 seconds can be recorded and embedded into a QR code on an instax™ print, letting recipients scan the code to view the video anytime. This innovative feature allows users to “hand over a video,” preserving special moments in both digital and physical form.
Travel Through Time with Eras Dial™
A standout feature is the Eras Dial™, which offers effects inspired by different decades, such as “1960,” reminiscent of 8mm film cameras. With 10 eras and 10 adjustable levels per era, the camera provides 100 unique visual expressions.
Audio is also enhanced with era-specific effects, including nostalgic sounds like film reel whirs, creating an authentic, immersive experience for both videos and still photos.
Design That Feels Classic and Analogue
Inspired by the FUJICA Single-8 8mm camera from 1965, the mini Evo Cinema features a vertical grip design and tactile analogue controls, including a satisfying Eras Dial™ click and a Print Lever that evokes winding film by hand.
Users can shoot using the rear monitor or attach the included viewfinder for a more immersive experience. The grip attachment ensures stable handling, making it easier to focus on capturing the perfect shot.
More Than Just a Camera
The dedicated Instax mini Evo™ app enhances creativity: users can combine multiple video clips, add cinematic openings and endings, design poster-style instax™ prints, and directly print photos from their smartphones.
With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, the mini Evo Cinema functions as a 3-in-1 device: video recorder, instant camera, and smartphone printer.
