Denon and Marantz are taking home audio to the next level with the rollout of Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) across select AV amplifiers and preamplifiers. Already renowned for premium sound quality, the two brands now offer owners the chance to unlock studio-grade bass performance and a more balanced listening experience in any space—whether it’s a dedicated home theatre or an open-concept living room.
Dirac Live ART builds on the foundation of Dirac Live Room Correction, which delivers balanced, transparent sound, and Dirac Live Bass Control, which intelligently optimises subwoofers. The new feature goes further by turning every speaker in the setup into a collaborative system that actively manages bass resonances in the crucial 20–150 Hz range. This dramatically reduces reverberation, resulting in tighter, clearer, and more consistent bass throughout the room without the need for heavy acoustic treatments.
Supported Models
Denon: AVC-A1H, AVC-A10H, AVC-X6800H, AVC-X4800H, AVC-X3800H

Upgrade Path
Owners of supported models that already feature Dirac Live Room Correction and Bass Control can add Dirac Live ART for $299. Alternatively, all three solutions can be purchased together. Starting October 1st, eligible Denon and Marantz devices will prompt users with a firmware update notification, enabling Dirac Live ART integration.
With this upgrade, Denon and Marantz users can now enjoy a more immersive, cinema-like experience at home, powered by precision sound engineering and cutting-edge room optimisation technology.
