The launch includes the EOS C50, Canon’s smallest Cinema EOS camera; the RF85mm f/1.4L VCM, the first 85mm lens in its hybrid photo-video lineup; and the CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1, Canon’s widest and lightest CINE-SERVO zoom lens to date.

At the centre of the announcement is the EOS C50, a compact yet powerful hybrid Cinema EOS camera.
Featuring a new 7K full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV 7 processor, the EOS C50 delivers internal 7K 60P RAW recording and high frame rate capabilities up to 4K 120P and 2K 180P. It also supports 32MP still photography, making it a versatile solution for hybrid creators.
The EOS C50 debuts Canon’s first Open Gate recording in a Cinema EOS camera, allowing editors to reframe both horizontal and vertical shots from the same footage.
With advanced autofocus powered by Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, modular adaptability, livestreaming support, and seamless integration with Canon’s ecosystem—including Frame.io Camera to Cloud—the EOS C50 is engineered for flexibility in modern production environments.

The launch also introduces the RF85mm f/1.4L VCM, adding a medium telephoto prime to Canon’s expanding f/1.4 hybrid lens series.
Weighing just 636 grams, this lens balances portability with professional-grade performance, offering shallow depth of field, dramatic compression, and video-specific features such as a clickless aperture ring and optical focus-breathing control.
Its rugged construction ensures reliability in demanding conditions, while its advanced optics, including UD and GMo aspherical elements, deliver sharp, ghosting- and flare-free images from edge to edge.

For filmmakers and broadcasters requiring wide-angle versatility, Canon presented the CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1, a 3kg CINE-SERVO lens with an ultra-wide 11mm focal length and a 100-degree angle of view.
Available in both RF and PL mounts, it combines portability with professional features, including Canon’s new e-Xs V Digital Drive Unit for precise servo control and metadata support for workflows using Cooke /i Technology™ and ZEISS eXtended Data™.
With Dual Pixel CMOS AF compatibility and advanced correction data in RF mount, the lens offers unmatched flexibility for cinema, studio setups, and live event production.
