TAG Heuer Celebrates the Spirit of Monaco with Three Bold New Monaco Editions

In celebration of the legendary Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco, TAG Heuer has unveiled three stunning new Monaco timepieces that blend the brand’s rich heritage in motorsport with modern innovation and bold design.

TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch
TAG Heuer reintroduces its racing legacy with the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch, a limited edition of just 970 pieces.

This striking timepiece draws direct inspiration from Heuer stopwatches used trackside in the 1960s and 70s. Designed with legibility and performance in mind, it features a bold black, white, and red colour scheme—a nod to the original racing timers trusted by motorsport professionals.

The dial’s black circular layout sits against an opaline silver background, encircled by a vivid red minute track. Blackened hour markers, white subdials, and a red lacquered chronograph hand enhance the stopwatch aesthetic.

The 39mm case, crafted in sandblasted black DLC-coated titanium, houses the historic Calibre 11—a mechanical tribute to the original Monaco’s beating heart.

Paired with a black perforated calfskin strap and presented in custom packaging, the Stopwatch edition is a perfect fusion of vintage inspiration and modern engineering.

TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Gulf
A cinematic and motorsport legend returns with the launch of the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Gulf.

This refreshed edition celebrates the watch’s enduring link with racing, Hollywood, and the iconic Gulf Oil livery made famous by Steve McQueen in the 1971 film Le Mans.

Retaining the square case and left-sided crown that set the Monaco apart in 1969, this edition features the unmistakable Gulf stripes in light blue and orange across the dial. Subtle updates to the dial proportions and finishing give the piece a contemporary edge while staying true to the emotional and visual DNA that makes this Monaco unforgettable.
Crafted for collectors, cinephiles, and motorsport lovers alike, the Monaco x Gulf is more than a timepiece—it’s a living tribute to the spirit of speed and rebellion.

TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph
At the cutting edge of horology, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph sets a new benchmark for innovation. The 2025 edition debuts a groundbreaking case made of TH-Titanium, a proprietary titanium alloy developed in-house using advanced thermal treatments. This results in a visually texturised case with unique, naturally occurring patterns—no two watches are alike.

Powered by the Calibre TH81-00, the movement and case together weigh just 86 grams, delivering unparalleled lightness. The highly complex split-seconds (rattrapante) chronograph allows for simultaneous timing of multiple events, perfect for motorsport’s highest demands. Lime green accents on the hands and pushers add a flash of racing intensity, while the sapphire dial and caseback offer full visibility of the movement’s architecture.

Produced with exceptional hand-finishing and innovative materials, this watch isn’t just a tool—it’s a sculpture of time in motion.

A Legacy Recharged
These three new Monaco models prove that the brand’s legacy is as forward-looking as it is storied. From the racetrack to the wrist, TAG Heuer continues to push the limits of what a timepiece can be.
