Compact AI Power: Meet the ASUS Ascent GX10 Supercomputer

ASUS has officially introduced the ASUS Ascent GX10, a groundbreaking AI supercomputer designed to bring petaflop-scale computing power directly to developers, researchers, and data scientists. Powered by the cutting-edge NVIDIA® GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, the GX10 redefines what’s possible in a compact desktop package.

As AI models become more complex, local development demands are skyrocketing. ASUS developed the Ascent GX10 as a cost-effective, powerful solution for AI development, allowing users to prototype, fine-tune, and run large-scale models right from their desks without the need for massive server clusters.

Peak AI Performance
The ASUS Ascent GX10 is engineered to deliver up to 1,000 TOPS of AI performance, backed by 128GB of unified system memory. This allows developers to efficiently handle next-generation AI models with up to 200 billion parameters, supporting intensive experimentation, tuning, and inference tasks.

Powered by NVIDIA Grace Blackwell
At the heart of the GX10 is the NVIDIA GB10 Superchip, a compact yet potent processor built on the Grace Blackwell architecture. It pairs a 20-core Grace Arm CPU with a Blackwell GPU equipped with fifth-generation Tensor Cores and FP4 precision support, achieving unmatched AI performance. NVIDIA’s NVLink®-C2C technology enables tight CPU-GPU memory integration, offering five times the bandwidth of PCIe® 5.0.

Ready for Today’s Most Demanding AI Models
With its substantial memory and support for the FP4 data format, the Ascent GX10 can easily manage AI models with hundreds of billions of parameters. For even larger models, like Llama 3.1 (with 405 billion parameters), users can link two GX10 units via integrated ConnectX® NICS, creating a local AI powerhouse.

Local Innovation, Cloud-Ready Deployment
The GX10 is built for fast, flexible development. It enables users to prototype and iterate locally while reserving large compute clusters for training and production deployment. With support for NVIDIA AI software, developers can transition seamlessly from the GX10 to NVIDIA DGX Cloud or other accelerated infrastructures, without needing major code changes.

A Tool for Every Innovator
“AI is reshaping every industry, and the ASUS Ascent GX10 is designed to put that power directly into developers’ hands,” said KuoWei Chao, General Manager of ASUS IoT and NUC Business Group. “By integrating the Grace Blackwell Superchip, we’re enabling researchers, scientists, and developers to break new ground in AI innovation — right from their desks.”

Availability and Pre-Orders
The ASUS Ascent GX10 will be available for pre-order starting in Q2 2025. Interested users can sign up for updates and more information at ASUS’s official page.
