Always one to surprise, Hublot took centre stage at LVMH Watch Week 2025 with a stunning series of releases that reimagine technical watchmaking and material innovation. From re-engineered skeleton movements to futuristic case materials and vibrant colourways, the latest Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang additions prove that the art of timekeeping is anything but conventional.
Big Bang MECA-10 42mm
First introduced in 2016, the original MECA-10 shocked horology fans with its raw, dial-less architecture and Meccano-inspired construction.
For 2025, Hublot brings it back in a more wearable 42mm size, available in King Gold, Titanium, and Frosted Carbon.
The new MECA-10 retains its unmistakable design language but is now housed in a slimmer case without losing its 10-day power reserve. Driven by a dual mainspring barrel system, its energy reserve is displayed digitally via a rare rack-and-pinion mechanism, a technical feat rarely seen in mechanical watches.
Retail Prices (SGD):
• Titanium – $32,300
• King Gold – $60,100
• Frosted Carbon – $38,500
Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM
The Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM dazzles with a case made of transparent SAXEM, a luminous, ultra-hard material derived from aerospace technology.
More vibrant than traditional sapphire crystal, SAXEM allows for intense emerald tones never before seen in watchmaking.
Limited to 18 pieces worldwide, the watch features Hublot’s MHUB6035 self-winding tourbillon movement with a micro-rotor and 72-hour power reserve, all housed in a crystal-clear green case paired with a matching transparent rubber strap.
Retail Price (SGD): $324,000
Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph
Marking 12 years of the Spirit of Big Bang collection, Hublot introduces three eye-catching ceramic colourways—Sky Blue, Beige, and Dark Green.
Each limited to 200 pieces, these models bring bold, unisex appeal to the barrel-shaped chronograph.
Powered by the HUB4700 calibre, a modernised version of the legendary El Primero movement, the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph offers a blend of technical prowess and playful design. Matching dials, straps, and colour-coded elements complete the monochromatic look.
Retail Price (SGD): $38,500 (each)
Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake
Rounding off the showcase is the Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake, a limited edition of 88 pieces celebrating the Chinese zodiac.
Featuring an exquisitely engraved gold-plated serpent weaving through the open dial, the design continues onto the engraved bezel and velvety rubber strap.
Housed in a black ceramic case, the timepiece runs on the HUB4700 skeleton chronograph movement, visible from both sides of the watch and updated with 21st-century engineering like a silicon escape wheel.
Retail Price (SGD): $49,300
With its 2025 releases, Hublot blends engineering precision with boundary-pushing aesthetics.
