Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, has officially launched the all-new Razer Blade 16. Engineered to be slimmer and more portable for gamers on the move, it still delivers the unparalleled performance expected from the Blade series. Packed with next-generation NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50 series GPUs and, for the first time, AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 processors, the Blade 16 offers remarkable power and advanced AI capabilities. It also features a vibrant QHD+ 240Hz OLED display, an enhanced keyboard, and an improved speaker system, elevating the gaming and creative experience.
“The new Razer Blade 16 is a groundbreaking step forward, combining ultra-portable design with outstanding performance,” said Travis Furst, Head of the Notebook & Accessories Division at Razer. “It’s designed for gamers who prioritize mobility without sacrificing power or functionality, embodying the future of gaming laptops.”
Reimagined and Innovative Design
With a focus on portability, the Blade 16 introduces a redesigned thermal hood, achieving a sleek 0.59-inch profile at its slimmest point, making it the thinnest gaming laptop Razer has ever created. Despite its compact form, it remains highly durable thanks to its unibody aluminium chassis, precision-crafted from a single block to minimize size without sacrificing strength.
The Blade 16 incorporates a next-generation vapour chamber cooling system with dual fans to achieve this ultra-thin design. This advanced cooling solution covers 57% of the motherboard’s surface area and uses 0.05mm exhaust fins to enhance heat dissipation while maintaining a low-profile, quiet operation.
AI-Powered Peak Performance
The Blade 16 delivers exceptional performance with the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU, offering up to 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM and pushing up to 155W of maximum graphics power. Built on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, the RTX 50 Series GPUs introduce groundbreaking AI capabilities, enabling unprecedented experiences in gaming and creative workflows. With NVIDIA DLSS 4, users can multiply performance, generate images faster, and tap into NVIDIA Studio to unlock creative potential. Additionally, NVIDIA NIM microservices offer advanced AI tools, allowing enthusiasts and developers to build AI-powered workflows and assistants.
“At NVIDIA, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of gaming and creative technology,” said Kaustubh Sanghani, Vice President of GPU Products at NVIDIA. “The GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU in the Razer Blade 16, combined with DLSS 4 and NVIDIA NIMs, exemplifies this, delivering unmatched performance and AI-driven capabilities for gamers and creators alike.”
For the first time, Razer is introducing AMD Ryzen™ processors in the Blade 16 lineup, with configurations available up to the Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370. This powerful processor features 12 cores and 24 threads, ensuring smooth performance during intense gaming sessions and heavy workloads. Equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 TOPS, the Ryzen AI 300 Series processors provide AI-enhanced experiences like Copilot+ for productivity, Cocreator for image generation, live captions for international content, and improved Windows Studio Effects. Paired with 8000MHz LPDDR5X memory, the Blade 16 ensures efficient multitasking while extending battery life for mobile users.
“Razer Blade notebooks continually push the boundaries of creativity, style, and performance,” said Rahul Tikoo, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Client Business Unit. “This year, we’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Razer by introducing the first-ever Blade 16 powered by Ryzen AI 300 Series processors. With the most advanced NPU in the industry, these processors open new possibilities for AI-driven gaming and content creation.”
Unmatched Display and Features
Taking full advantage of its powerful internals, the Blade 16 comes with a QHD+ 240Hz OLED display. Delivering an ultra-fast 0.2ms response time ensures smooth visuals for gamers, whether drifting through tight corners in racing sims or landing precision shots in first-person shooters. Thin 4.7mm bezels surround the screen, while Calman Verified colour profiles, including Rec. 709, Adobe RGB, and DCI-P3, cater to creators working on various projects.
The Blade 16 also enhances user experience with a redesigned keyboard featuring 1.5mm of travel—50% more than previous models—and a 63g actuation force, making for a more tactile and responsive typing experience. The keyboard now includes five macro keys for quick access to key tools and settings, which can be customized through Razer Synapse. A dedicated Copilot key provides instant access to the AI assistant for productivity and workflow optimization.
To match the improved input experience, the Blade 16 has been upgraded with a 6-speaker audio system for a richer, more immersive sound. Tuned by the experts at THX, the system offers pre-configured EQ profiles for gaming, movies, and more, while users can also create custom profiles to fine-tune audio to their preferences.
