HTC VIVE Focus Vision: Advancing XR for Enterprises and High-End Gaming

HTC a global leader in Extended Reality (XR) technology, has officially launched its latest innovation, the VIVE Focus Vision, in Singapore. This hybrid standalone PC VR headset is set to revolutionize XR experiences for enterprises and high-end gamers alike, offering groundbreaking advancements and unparalleled performance.

“VIVE Focus Vision gives you the best of both worlds, with outstanding standalone capabilities and DisplayPort mode support for visually lossless PCVR experiences,” said Shen Ye, Global Head of Product at HTC VIVE. “Now, PC gamers can bring the same high-end headsets used in VR arcades into their homes. We’re taking everything to the next level with built-in eye-tracking, stereo colour passthrough cameras for depth-correct Mixed Reality, and even an infra-red sensor for enhanced hand tracking in low-light conditions.”

The VIVE Focus Vision delivers visually lossless PCVR experiences with a stunning 5K resolution across both eyes, up to a 120-degree field of view, and a refresh rate of 120Hz (via DisplayPort mode). With stereoscopic colour passthrough provided by dual 16MP cameras, users can enjoy natural depth perception for highly immersive Mixed Reality applications. Built-in eye-tracking and motorized auto-IPD adjustment ensure the clearest visuals and most comfortable viewing experience, even in high-user turnover environments like location-based entertainment centres or training events.

Designed for precision and immersion, the headset features HTC VIVE’s industry-leading tracking technology. Paired with the VIVE Ultimate Tracker and Facial Tracker, it enables full-body tracking of 26 body joints and detailed facial expression mapping of up to 38 blend shapes. This makes it ideal for VTuber content creation, virtual meetings, and training simulations, where precise motion and real-time emotional expression are essential. These advanced features elevate the VIVE Focus Vision as a top choice for enterprises and creative professionals alike.

Comfort and usability are key aspects of the VIVE Focus Vision. Its ergonomic design incorporates a rear-positioned battery for balanced weight distribution, ensuring comfort during extended sessions. An upgraded cooling system enhances user comfort, while a hot-swappable auxiliary battery allows uninterrupted use, making the device perfect for both personal and professional applications.

To celebrate its launch, HTC is offering exclusive bundles starting in early December. Valued at SG$509, these bundles include the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit, a choice of three VR game bundles, and the AAA PC VR game title Metro Awakening.

The VIVE Focus Vision – Consumer Edition is priced at SG$1,699 and comes with the headset, two controllers, one headset battery, a charger, and charging cables. This promotion is available until 1 January 2025, giving XR enthusiasts the perfect opportunity to experience the next level of immersive technology.
