Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the global launch of its highly anticipated gaming monitor, the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC model), featuring groundbreaking AI upscaling technology. This new addition to the Odyssey lineup marks a new era in OLED gaming, building on the success of last year’s Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SB) model.

The Odyssey OLED G9 boasts a massive 49-inch size with a 1800R curvature, making it the first OLED monitor to feature Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 aspect ratio. Its large and wide screen allows users to immerse themselves in super-ultrawide vistas, equivalent to having two QHD screens placed side by side. Additionally, the monitor’s rapid 0.03ms grey-to-grey (GtG) response time and 240Hz refresh rate provide gamers with a competitive edge.
Setting itself apart from other OLED gaming monitors, the Odyssey OLED G9 incorporates the Neo Quantum Processor Pro. This advanced processor utilizes a deep learning algorithm to intelligently analyze and upscale images, adjusting brightness and enhancing contrast. As a result, the monitor can restore each detail and deliver the most brilliant images, pixel by pixel.
To further enhance the gaming experience, the Odyssey OLED G9 features AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, ensuring super-smooth gameplay. With DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, the monitor delivers incredible details and vivid colours, regardless of the game being played or the content being viewed.
The sleek metal frame of the Odyssey OLED G9 houses a slim design. On the back of the monitor, users will find CoreSync and Core Lighting+ features, utilizing advanced lighting technology to synchronize colours with on-screen content, creating a more immersive and lifelike gaming experience. The built-in stereo speakers complement the visuals with crisp sound.

The Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) is available for preorder in Singapore, with general availability starting from June 26th, priced at S$3,399 (including GST).
