Epson has introduced two new printers, the L3550 and L5590 models, to its EcoTank series that target users seeking faster printing speeds and durability for their homes or offices. Both printers are made of 30% recycled plastic and require 84% fewer consumables than ink cartridge printers, with packaging made up of over 80% recycled cardboard.
The printers feature user-replaceable maintenance boxes and connectivity options such as AirPrint, Mopria, and Epson Smart Panel. With Epson’s Smart Panel App, users can monitor printer operation and ink levels and directly access printing, scanning, and copying functions. Both models also support ink tanks that print up to 4,300 pages in black and 7,300 pages in colour.
The L3550 and L5590 print at 15/8 pm vs 10/5 ppm for black/colour printing, respectively, making them faster than some of Epson’s earlier models. The L5590 is the only model with an ADF, and both models have warranty coverage of up to 50k pages or 2 years, whichever comes first.
The printers will be available now at Epson’s flagship stores on Lazada, Shopee, and Epson’s official store for S$369 and S$469, respectively.
