BenQ recently launched two new 2K QHD (2560 X 1440) monitors, the 27-inch GW2790QT and the 31.5-inch GW3290QT. They offer Full HD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a fast response time of 5ms, making them ideal for programmers who need to work with multiple windows and applications at the same time. The GW90 Series Eye-care monitors include eyecare technology, ergonomic design, USB-C data transmission, charging, and an integrated USB-hub connection, as well as a unique coding mode to improve programming productivity and visual comfort.
BenQ’s highly acclaimed coding mode is included in this GW90 series, which adjusts contrast and saturation for programming work, minimizing eye strain and boosting visual comfort. It also features TUV Rheinland-certified BenQ Eye-Care innovations including Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light Technologies, as well as Brightness Intelligence Gen2, which adds adjustable settings for auto-optimization of screen brightness. BenQ’s Eye-CareU software provides quick access to colour weakness mode compensation as well as a simulated e-paper reading mode.
Designed with customised comfort and ergonomics in mind, the GW90 series boasts height adjustability of + 110mm from the base, a left-right swivel of 20˚, monitor tilt of up to 20˚, and a pivot rotation of 90˚ of monitors for vertical screen viewing.
For those used to multiple screens, the GW90QT series support USB-C, which allows you to easily connect with devices, and simultaneously charge devices with up to 65 watts of power delivery. The USB-A ports on the GW90QT monitor can act as a USB extension hub for your favourite accessories. The monitors also come with multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and VGA ports, which allow users to easily connect to a variety of devices. BenQ GW90QT Eye-Care monitors also allow for daisy chaining of 2 to 4 monitors via DisplayPort.
Integrated noise filter speakers and noise cancellation microphones ensure clear remote conferencing, and comprehensive HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, and audio ports allow fast switching between peripherals and smart devices.
The GW90 series monitors are available for purchase at $479 and $639 for the 27-inch and 31.5-inch monitors respectively. They are available on Shopee and Lazada from March 1st.
