OPPO Launches OPPO Watch Free

OPPO has announced their latest OPPO Watch Free, a brand-new watch with all-scenario sleep monitoring, along with professional sports modes and other health functions.

OPPO Watch Free comes equipped with OSleep to provide professional, comprehensive, and personalised sleep monitoring and analysis for before, during, and after sleep. In particular, the exclusive snoring risk assessment, which is supported by professional sensors and advanced algorithms, can effectively detect sleep problems, and propose suggestions in a timely manner.

Many people think of snoring as a sign of good sleep. However, chronic snorers may in fact have Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS), which is an issue that is often overlooked. Putting this into consideration, the OPPO Watch Free uses its exclusive snoring risk assessment to comprehensively assess snoring risks by leveraging OPPO’s snoring evaluation algorithm in combination with continuous second-level SpO2 monitoring through an optical SpO2 sensor, heart rate variability detection through an optical heart rate sensor and snores recorded by a phone. OPPO Watch Free also displays indicators such as users’ average sleep blood oxygen level, number of snores, and maximum snoring decibels to help detect breathing problems during sleep.

Many youths today use their phones before bed and experience difficulties falling asleep. To help users fall asleep faster and have a better night’s sleep, the OPPO Watch Free sends bedtime reminders and analyses users’ sleep latency, sleep duration, and sleep phases with features such as the deep and light sleep analysis and rapid eye movement (REM) monitoring. Equipped with multiple sensors and professional algorithms, the OPPO Watch Free suits all scenarios before, during, and after sleep.

OPPO Watch Free has a built-in 6-axis motion sensor and an optical heart rate sensor to support over 100 sport modes. These sensors automatically identify and record 4 sports modes through using algorithms, so users no longer need to worry about forgetting to enable the modes. They can check all their activities in Daily Activity, and with the built-in professional running courses available, users can achieve fitness and fat-burning goals in a more efficient manner.

Not only that, the OPPO Watch Free supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring, which records users’ heart rate around the clock. If the heart rate becomes too high, the smart band will vibrate to warn the user of irregular heartbeat. Additionally, with the stand-up reminders and 5-minute stand-up relaxation videos, users who are office workers can stay fit and relax when necessary.

OPPO Watch Free has a range of convenience features such as Message Notifications, Incoming Call Notifications, Call Rejection, Find My Phone, and Music Playback Control, enabling users to use the watch as an extension of their phone for convenience. OPPO Watch Free has a long battery life of 14 days, and with just 5 minutes of charging, a full day of use can be enjoyed.

The OPPO Watch Free weighs only 33g, making it light to wear, and also comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED HD display. The watch also features a smooth leather-like strap which offers a breathable fit that stays comfortable and offers over 40 stylish watch faces and AI Outfit watch Face 2.0. This allows users to create personalised watch faces that match the style of their outfits on any given day.

The OPPO Watch Free will be available in two colourways – Vanilla and Black, from 15 January at a retail price of S$129 at OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO’s Shopee, and Lazada Flagship Stores, and authorised retailers. Till 4 March, the OPPO Watch Free can also be purchased at a discounted price of S$99 (U.P S$129) alongside the OPPO Reno7 Pro – only at OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO’s Shopee, and Lazada Flagship Stores.
