Canon has announced the addition of the PIXMA Ink Efficient E3470 and PIXMA TS3470 to its PIXMA printer line-up. The new PIXMA printers ensure users get the most from their printers based on their print volumes.
Cost Efficiency
The highlight of the PIXMA Ink Efficient E3470 is its affordable, high yield black ink cartridge that can print up to 400 monochrome pages at low cost. The tri-colour cartridge delivers up to 180 pages, for occasions where colour is still needed.
For users with lower print volume demands, the PIXMA TS3470 is a suitable choice that operates with one black and one tri-colour ink cartridge. The printer is also compatible with higher-yield ink cartridge models to support growing business needs or projects that require higher print volumes.
Wireless and Mobile Printing
Both the PIXMA Ink Efficient E3470 and the PIXMA TS3470 come with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, so setup and printer discovery are fast and effortless using the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY mobile app for iOS and Android platforms. Even in the absence of a wireless router, users can easily connect their smartphones to the printer directly, aided by the Wireless Connect Button on the operation panel.
The Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app allows users to print, copy and scan effortlessly using your smartphone or tablet, directly access cloud services, and check printer status, remaining ink levels, or access online user guides. Both printers support Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Canon Print Service (Android plugin) for direct printing. The PIXMA Ink Efficient E3470 and PIXMA TS3470 are also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, which enables voice activated printing.
Operation and Productivity
The LCD displays on the PIXMA Ink Efficient E3470 and PIXMA TS3470 make it easy to navigate and adjust print settings, with the help of intuitive icons displaying remaining ink status, Wi-Fi status, and more.
Both printers are capable of printing black and white document at 7.7 images per minute (ipm) and 4 ipm when printing in colour. They are also versatile enough to perform borderless photo printing on 4R, 5R and 5 x 5” popular Instagram photo size.
Users looking to edit ID photos or print custom photo layouts, calendars, and postcards can do so easily with the Easy-PhotoPrint Editor app, which is available on iOS, Android OS, Windows, and Mac OS platforms.

With more than 1,300 pre-loaded templates, photos, and clip art available for free on Canon’s PosterArtist Lite software, as well as an easy and intuitive user interface, even new users can operate without prior design experience.
