realme, a fast growing smartphone brand, announced today that it will be hosting a new 5G product global online launch event themed, “Speed of the Future” in Madrid, Spain at 10:00 am on February 24th (5:00pm SG Time). The event will see the unveiling of realme’s first 5G flagship smartphone, the realme X50 Pro 5G, livestreamed globally across 15 markets on YouTube, Facebook and realme.com.
The unveiling of the brand’s first 5G flagship, among the first in the world to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G, is part of its commitment to allow its users to “Dare to Leap”.
realme’s First 5G Flagship Smartphone
The realme X50 Pro 5G comes on the heels of the “5G Youth Flagship” realme X50 5G, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, which was recently launched in China to excellent reviews.
The recent Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit, held at the end of 2019, saw realme announced as one of the first smartphone brands to receive the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platforms.
“Dare to Leap” in Madrid
Since its establishment, realme has thrived on the brand concept of “Dare to Leap”, expanding it reach across 25 markets worldwide, including China, India, Southeast Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Europe, producing highly competitive smartphone products.
According to global statistics, the total shipment of realme smartphone in the third quarter of 2019 exceeded 10 million, ranking 7th around the world and reflecting an 808 percent growth year-on-year.
