<\/p>\nI have a preference for neckband wireless headphones over true wireless earbuds simply because I like the fact that you can wear neckbands when you\u2019re not using them, so I\u2019ll wear them practically all day. Sony\u2019s WI-C600N suits my style – the soft silicon neckbands are very comfortable to wear long-term and have little magnets to dock the two earpieces together, so they don’t accidentally slide off. The neckband is capped by slightly larger cylinders that contain the electronics, batteries, a USB-C charging port and controls, leaving the earpieces with just the 6mm drivers to accommodate.<\/p>\n

Sony hasn\u2019t made any claims regarding the waterproofness of these earphones, but I\u2019ve worn them when accidentally caught in a torrential downpour without any issues.<\/p>\n
With 6.5 hours of battery life, the WI-C600N is good for a couple of day\u2019s use while commuting between charges, and will fast-charge an hour\u2019s playback for every 15 minutes. Battery life may seem a little low compared to some other similar wireless earphones, but that\u2019s due to the digital noise cancelling which works a treat to cancel out voices when you want to enjoy some blissful silence while standing in a crowded MRT carriage. There are three noise cancelling\/ambient sound modes that you can toggle via a button on the right side of the neckband. The first is full digital noise cancelling, the second allows ambient noise, while the third lets you hear voices such as train announcements.<\/p>\n
