Calling all photography enthusiasts \u2013 young, old, professionals and amateurs. Canon PhotoMarathon Malaysia<\/strong> is about two weeks away and we want you come join NXT in the middle of the skirmish in downtown Sunway on 19 and 20 October, as we present ourselves as the official digital media for the event.<\/p>\n

The Singapore leg in June 2018<\/a> was a massive hit with shutterbugs from around the world, who flocked in for the camera giants’ 16th edition of the competition in the Lion City.<\/p>\n

The themes were SOLITUDE<\/strong>, SIMPLICITY<\/strong> and GLOW<\/strong> \u2013 participants of all age groups took to the streets to produce some of the best shots we’ve ever seen, and when the curtain raises again later this month \u2013 for the 12th time across the Causeway \u2013 we’d expect the results to be much better.<\/p>\n

The format of the competition will assimilate that of Singapore with categories and themes, but this year, participants will receive a unique finisher\u2019s medal as part of a three-piece collection \u2013 consisting of a camera body, flash and lens cap.<\/p>\n

To get the full set, you’ll have to join the Canon PhotoMarathon in Malaysia for the 2019 and 2020 editions.<\/p>\n

There will be over RM150,000 (S$50,000) worth of prizes to be won including an exclusive all-expense-paid photography trip to Japan to participate in the Canon PhotoMarathon Asia Championship, a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR, Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR, Canon EOS M5 Mirrorless, RM4,000 ($1,330) voucher for Canon\u2019s official store in Lazada Malaysia, a challenge trophy, an EOS Club set-up in their school by Canon Marketing Malaysia, Canon EOS 80D, Canon EOS M50, Canon EOS M100 cameras, the Canon Speedlite 430EX III RT flash and other cool paraphernalia from Western Digital, Viewsonic and Grab.<\/p>\n

On top of that, if you visit the NXT booth and participate in our photo contest, you’ll stand to win exclusive audio products and get up close with the gorgeous NXT Angels!<\/p>\n
