It\u2019s been a long time coming \u2013\u00a0Canon<\/a> has finally released its highly anticipated mirrorless camera, with the EOS R hitting stores from October.<\/p>\n

So what makes this release special? The experts say that the 30.3MP full-frame EOS R is built with a DIGIC 8 image processor and with that, it boasts a focus speed of 0.05 seconds, and has 5,655 focusing positions.<\/p>\n

The 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor mirrorless interchangeable-lens digital camera is a first for Canon and here\u2019s an insight on all of its features.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll get a new 54mm diameter RF mount, an ISO sensitivity range of 100-40,000, an the Auto Lighting Optimizer, Dual Sensing IS, Dual Pixel RAW support, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, EV-6 low-light focus, customizable 3.69-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder, touch & drag AF, FV exposure mode, and these are just the tip of the iceberg.<\/p>\n

Avid videographers will rejoice in the EOS R\u2019s extensive cinematography capabilities.<\/p>\n

While the camera comes with flexible control to achieve better imaging in bright and dark areas during post-processing and color grading, it also packs a punch with the Ultra High Definition 4K recording at 30p\/25p (3840 x 2160 pixels).<\/p>\n

Along with the powerful EOS R, Canon also unveiled four brand new RF lenses, two super telephoto EF lenses and one prime EF-M lens.<\/p>\n

And to complete the EOS drop, Canon introduced three types of RF mount adapters.<\/p>\n
