Heroes everywhere turned out in force, and Blizzard Entertainment recently announced that as of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Battle for Azeroth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s first full day of launch on August 14, more than 3.4 million units of the latest <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">World of Warcraft <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">expansion had been sold worldwide, setting a new day-one sales record for the franchise and making it one of the fastest-selling PC games of all-time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5099\" src=\"http:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover.jpg\" alt=\"World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth cover\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover.jpg 900w, https:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover-696x391.jpg 696w, https:\/\/nxtmag.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/WoW-BattleForAzeroth-cover-747x420.jpg 747w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As Azeroth\u2019s defenders continue to explore new regions in search of allies and resources, preparations are being made for the next great confrontation in the ongoing war:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the coming weeks, players will be able to charge into <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Battle for Azeroth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s first Warfront, Stromgarde\u2014a 20-player co-op battle for control of a key strategic stronghold in the Arathi Highlands.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On September 4, the gates will open to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Battle for Azeroth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s first raid\u2014Uldir, an ancient titan facility housing horrific Old God experiments gone awry.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Also on September 4, the expansion\u2019s first PvP season and first Mythic Keystone dungeon season will commence. The Mythic Keystone dungeon will feature a unique \u201cseasonal affix\u201d\u2014Infested\u2014that introduces new challenges based on the corrupted denizens dwelling in the Uldir raid.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beyond that, additional updates are in the works that will provide even more content for players on an ongoing basis, including the ability to recruit the Kul Tiran humans and Zandalari trolls as playable Allied Races. More information on future updates will be shared at a later date.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What is <\/b><b><i>Battle for Azeroth<\/i><\/b><b>?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Battle for Azeroth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is the seventh expansion for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">World of Warcraft<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. As a new age of warfare dawns between the Alliance and the Horde, Azeroth\u2019s heroes must set out on a journey to the lost kingdoms of Kul Tiras and Zandalar in search of new allies; race against rivals for resources in dynamic Island Expeditions; bring new playable Allied Races into their faction\u2019s fold; unlock the power of their gear using the new Heart of Azeroth artifact; and much more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Battle for Azeroth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is available in physical and digital standard editions (SRP $49.99) as well as a Digital Deluxe Edition (SRP $69.99).
