If I asked you what your favourite everyday photography companion is, you might just tell me about the latest smartphone. But to me, that\u2019s only second best. I want a camera that is convenient to carry around in a tote bag, yet powerful enough to take pictures worthy of an Instagram post. That\u2019s the Fujifilm X-T100 for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doing All The Work For Me<\/b><\/h3>\n

Here, I am taking pictures at Pizza Hut and Yam\u2019s Kitchen. When it comes to food photography, framing is key. Thankfully, the latest addition to the X series of mirrorless digital cameras is one with high magnification electronic viewfinder and a horizontal tilting rear LCD screen that makes it effortless for me to frame my shots. Don\u2019t underestimate the importance of the two as they are the first two things you look at when you frame your shots and vet through them after shooting.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Food<\/span>
\n<\/span>What\u2019s more, there\u2019s an Intelligent Hybrid AF system that is ultra fast and precise in autofocusing – a useful tool for an amateur like me. On top of that, there\u2019s the SR+ Auto Mode that combines subject and scene recognition, a nod to the fact that most of us take pictures of scenery with ourselves in the foreground.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Portrait<\/span>
\n<\/span>I downloaded the free FUJIFILM Camera Remote app just before I had to rush to take a picture for an Instagram post. The seamless transfer function provides constant image transfer even while I\u2019m still shooting. I can check the photos in my phone, edit them on the spot, and post. No time wasted!<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>I was not just impressed by the great image resolution, but by the design of the camera as well. Fujifilm never fails to win me over with the chicest camera. The X-T100 comes in Dark Silver, Black, and Champagne Gold and it\u2019s topped with three control dials on the sleek metallic cover.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Dim<\/p>\n

Despite the dim lighting, my friend and I took pretty decent pictures at Beerfest 2018. That\u2019s only possible with the APS-C sized image sensor which is 14 times larger than the sensors inside most smartphones.
