ASUS is taking AI-powered creativity to another level with the introduction of the ProArt P16 (H7607BA), its first creator laptop powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip. Designed for professionals who want to run demanding AI models without constantly relying on the cloud, the new laptop brings powerful local AI computing into a surprisingly slim and portable design.<\/p>\n
At just 12.9 mm thick and weighing 1.77kg, the ProArt P16 is ASUS’ thinnest 16-inch ProArt laptop to date, measuring 14 per cent thinner and weighing 9 per cent less than its predecessor. Despite its streamlined profile, it packs a 16-inch 4K OLED touchscreen, a 99.9Wh battery and the processing power to handle sophisticated AI-assisted creative workflows.<\/p>\n
NVIDIA RTX Spark Takes AI Creation Offline<\/strong> Delivering up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and supporting up to 128GB of unified memory, the platform is designed to run demanding generative AI models and autonomous AI agents directly on the laptop.<\/p>\n For creators, this opens up greater flexibility. Instead of uploading files to cloud services or paying for every generation, supported AI models can run locally, allowing users to experiment, refine images and develop creative concepts without per-token charges.<\/p>\n Keeping workflows on the device also offers greater control over sensitive projects and intellectual property, particularly for professionals working with confidential material. Local processing can also keep supported workflows available without an internet connection.<\/p>\n The generous unified memory capacity is especially important for larger AI models and complex creative tasks, where memory limitations can become a major obstacle.<\/p>\n A Creative Ecosystem Built Around AI Agents<\/strong> Its MuseTree application supports local image and video generation using FLUX and WAN models, allowing users to explore creative ideas without cloud-generation charges. Meanwhile, StoryCube uses AI-powered scene recognition and media organisation to make managing large collections of photos and videos easier.<\/p>\n The ProArt P16 also supports more advanced agentic AI workflows through Hermes, an open-source AI assistant developed by Nous Research. Designed to work across desktop applications, terminal commands and local files, Hermes can help automate multi-step creative tasks and interact with MuseTree through a dedicated integration.<\/p>\n ASUS’ own Zenni Claw assistant adds another layer of AI support, with deeper integration into ASUS applications and device controls for everyday productivity and content management.<\/p>\n For creators who prefer building their own workflows, ASUS has partnered with ComfyUI, an open-source platform for visual AI generation. With 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour coverage, PANTONE Validated colour accuracy and support for 1.07 billion colours, it is designed for colour-sensitive work such as photography, video grading and digital illustration.<\/p>\n An anti-reflection coating helps minimise distracting glare, while stylus support adds flexibility for artists who prefer working directly on the screen.<\/p>\n Slim Design Without Sacrificing Connectivity<\/strong> Three USB4 Type-C ports support transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps, alongside HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A and an SD Express 7.0 card reader. The latter is particularly useful for photographers and videographers who regularly transfer large media files from cameras.<\/p>\n A precision haptic touchpad provides responsive feedback, while Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless connectivity.
