The Sennheiser CX series has come a long way, providing a distinctive product line that is trusted by consumers. In recent months, the CX series earphones were released in tandem with the premium Momentum series. For instance, the CX 7.00 BT is the neckband equivalent of Momentum Wireless M2 IEBT, and the CX 3.00 resembles the Momentum M2 IE. This time, the CX Sport, which is the fitness version of the CX 6.00 BT, is the parallel of the Momentum Free.<\/span><\/p>\n

The primary difference between the Momentum and the CX earphones lies in the in-ear drivers. Although Momentum earphones are technically better, the CX earphones do not fare too poorly. The CX earphones are characterised with clear, detailed treble, heightened airiness, and a comfortable bass response, so this is what you would expect from the CX Sport. The fluorescent coloured in-line control buttons and the matching ear fins distinguish themselves from the other Sennheiser earphones. While the soft ear fins keep the earbuds in place, the earphones are treated to endure sweat and water splashes. The cord is shorter than most other wireless earphones, so they do not dangle and swing around during workouts.<\/span><\/p>\n

To keep the two in-line remotes swinging about too much during runs, you can tighten the cord with the included clip. The CX Sport uses lightweight materials, from the earbuds to the cords, which adds to the wear comfort. Even if you do not intend to use them for workouts, I’m sure we all would not mind a pair of earphones that can resist some moisture. Besides, the CX Sport is one of the very few sport earphones from Sennheiser, and its design is not too over-the-top for normal use.<\/span><\/p>\n
