Louis Erard is expanding its Noirmont M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art collection with the Le R\u00e9gulateur Esprit Flinqu\u00e9, a fresh interpretation of the brand\u2019s signature regulator display that emphasises light, texture and movement.<\/p>\n
The collection comprises two colour variations in blue and grey. The blue model originally made its debut in December 2025 as a special collaboration with Worn & Wound, and now joins the permanent M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art family alongside the newly introduced grey edition.<\/p>\n
A Different Take on the Regulator<\/strong> For the first time on a Louis Erard watch, the hours and seconds are displayed using skeletonised rotating discs. Their openworked construction brings additional movement and visual depth to the dial while retaining the clear hierarchy associated with a regulator display.<\/p>\n At the centre of attention is the minute display, presented in either deep blue or grey. Fine fluted sunray lines extend across the surface, catching and reflecting light differently as the wrist moves. Louis Erard\u2019s distinctive fir tree-shaped minute hand sits prominently above the pattern.<\/p>\n The lighter surrounding areas provide contrast, allowing the appearance of the dial to shift subtly according to lighting and viewing angle. Rather than relying on elaborate decoration alone, Esprit Flinqu\u00e9 uses the interaction between pattern, reflections and moving components to create its character.<\/p>\n Blue or Monochrome Grey<\/strong> The blue Esprit Flinqu\u00e9 is paired with a beige calf-leather strap, creating a warmer contrast against the rich blue dial. The grey edition takes a more monochromatic approach, extending its muted tones from the dial to the strap for a clean, understated appearance.<\/p>\n Each colourway will be produced in a limited edition of just 99 pieces.<\/p>\n Expanding Louis Erard’s M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art<\/strong> The brand’s recent M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art creations have explored techniques including hand engraving, grand feu enamel and fil d\u2019or, reinterpreting traditional savoir-faire through a more contemporary design language and typically in small production runs.<\/p>\n Le R\u00e9gulateur Esprit Flinqu\u00e9 approaches the idea from another direction.
