Logitech has announced the launch of the Mobi Fold, the company’s first foldable mouse designed specifically for professionals who work on the move. Combining portability, comfort and productivity, the new accessory aims to address a growing challenge faced by modern workers: staying productive outside the traditional office.<\/p>\n
As hybrid and flexible work arrangements become the norm, more professionals are finding themselves working from airports, caf\u00e9s, hotel lobbies and co-working spaces. Yet despite the widespread ownership of computer mice, Logitech’s research found that only 26% of professionals use one when working in public places, even though 72% own one. The primary reason? Traditional mice are often too bulky or inconvenient to carry around.<\/p>\n
The Mobi Fold is Logitech’s answer to this “on-the-go productivity gap”.<\/p>\n
A Mouse That Folds Into Your Pocket<\/strong> Opening the mouse automatically powers it on, while folding it shut turns it off, eliminating the need for additional buttons or switches. According to Logitech, the design allows users to enjoy a more comfortable working experience while reducing muscle strain by up to 22% compared to using a laptop trackpad.<\/p>\n “For a long time, people have left their mice behind simply because they were a hassle to carry around,” said Joseph Mingori, Vice President and General Manager at Logitech. “With Mobi Fold, we have engineered a frictionless transition between the dedicated desk and working on the move.”<\/p>\n Designed for Productivity Anywhere<\/strong> Adaptive Touch Scrolling allows users to switch between precise line-by-line navigation and faster scrolling through lengthy documents and spreadsheets. Two programmable buttons can also be customised through the Logi Options+ app, enabling quick shortcuts such as taking screenshots, switching applications or launching favourite workflows.<\/p>\n The mouse supports Bluetooth connectivity with up to three devices simultaneously, allowing users to switch seamlessly between laptops, tablets and smartphones. Compatibility extends across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux devices.<\/p>\n For quieter working environments such as libraries, caf\u00e9s and shared workspaces, the Mobi Fold features quiet-click technology designed to minimise distractions.<\/p>\n Built for Life on the Road<\/strong> The mouse is drop-tested and protected by a dust-resistant silicone sleeve, while its folding hinge has been engineered to withstand up to 15 years of daily use. Logitech has also integrated an on-device AI model that helps prevent accidental clicks when folding the device closed.<\/p>\n Battery performance is another highlight. A full charge delivers up to 30 days of usage, while a one-minute quick charge provides up to 22 hours of operation, ensuring users can stay productive even during busy travel schedules.<\/p>\n Adding to its convenience, the Mobi Fold becomes the first Logitech input device to receive Google’s Fast Pair certification, allowing compatible Android devices to connect almost instantly.<\/p>\n
