Jabra Evolve series has a 6-year release cycle. The first Evolve headsets were launched in 2014, and the Evolve2 series was released in 2020. Now in 2026, Jabra announced their latest Evolve3 series, starting with Evolve3 85, an over-ear headset, and Evolve3 75, the on-ear variant.<\/p>\n
The Evolve3 85 and 75 are the successors to the Evolve2 85 and 75, respectively, and when you compare them side-by-side, you will notice the design evolution, which removes the boom mic while reducing the earcup thickness significantly. These improvements mean the Evolve3 series headsets are more compact and more lightweight to carry around.<\/p>\n
Another much-appreciated change is the use of fabric material for the ear cushions and inner headband, eliminating the fear of leather flaking and ruining the usability of a perfectly durable headset. They are also more breathable and don\u2019t feel as hot when using them for long hours.<\/p>\n

Even without the boom mic extending to the mouth, my voice comes through clearly, whether in a noisy office or a cafe. This makes conversations feel more natural\u2014you don\u2019t sound like you\u2019re \u201con a headset,\u201d and you don\u2019t look like you\u2019re wearing one either. Jabra ClearVoice feature uses AI-powered deep learning technology to pick up your voice more accurately so that the other party can understand you,u and your Gen AI assistants can capture your prompts correctly.<\/p>\n
And because there is no boom mic, the headset looks like ordinary headphones, further encouraging me to use them even outside work for casual music enjoyment. The best part is that if needed to jump into a call, the Evolve3 series headsets allow me to take the call with impressive clarity and isolation.<\/p>\n
The ANC is effective enough to help me focus on my music and conversation, but it doesn\u2019t shut me off completely from the surroundings like Sony or Bose. It\u2019s a balance that works well when switching between home, office, and public spaces. I find the Evolve3 85\u2019s ANC a little better at eliminating midrange frequencies, but it also means I could hear a bit more high-frequency chatter on it. The Evolve3 75 seems to tame the high-frequency a little better, thanks to the on-ear design,n where the ear pads provide additional passive isolation.<\/p>\n

In terms of audio quality, the Jabra Evolve3 85 edges with better treble performance,ce while the Evolve3 75 delivers a little more rounded treble. While I get a little better hi-fidelity on the Evolve3 85, I somehow prefer the fuller sound of the Evolve3 75 during work calls.<\/p>\n
With the companion smartphone app, you can further customise the functions like adjusting HearThrough level, music EQ, Sidetone (hearing your own voice), enabling Spatial Sound, and wind noise reduction.<\/p>\n

Jabra used to sell consumer headphones and wireless earbuds, and their audio quality has always been consistently good. It delivers a good balance of bass and treble sparkle and offers users the option to fine-tune the EQ via the app. Battery life is sufficient for long-hour conversations up to 25 hours (on the Evolve3 85), or up to 120 hours of music with ANC off. For a quick charge, a 30-minute charge is all it takes to fill up the battery by 50%. A 10-minute charge adds 10 hours of music play.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, the new Jabra Evolve3 series is lighter, more compact, and more durable. It is the top choice for a headset that handles both professional and personal audio needs without fuss. If you spend hours in online meetings, these headsets provide comfort and convenience, but more importantly, the other party will hear you better.<\/p>\n
