R\u00d8DE has released a major firmware update for the R\u00d8DECaster Video, introducing full NDI support at no additional cost. Alongside advanced PTZ camera control, professional keying tools, and refined workflow features, this update positions the R\u00d8DECaster Video as one of the most powerful and versatile solutions in its class, unlocking new levels of flexibility for multi-camera and network-based video production.<\/p>\n

NDI\u00ae (Network Device Interface) enables high-quality, low-latency video-over-IP streaming. With this update, the R\u00d8DECaster Video can now handle up to four NDI inputs and one NDI output via Ethernet, making it easy to connect cameras, smartphones, and other NDI-enabled devices on the same network, eliminating the need for complex cabling.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The upgrade also extends NDI functionality to the R\u00d8DE Capture iOS app, enabling iPhones to function as professional wireless NDI sources. Its Dual Cam mode lets creators stream simultaneously from front and rear cameras, either as separate feeds or combined shots, ideal for interviews, commentary, or dynamic on-location shoots.<\/p>\n
