BenQ recently announced the BenQ SW271 & SW320 photographer monitors, available in two measurements, 27-inch and 31.5-inch that comes with a 4K display and High Dynamic Range (HDR) capabilities. The monitors have an impressive color range, covering 99% of Adobe RGB and 100% of sRGB, Rec. 709, and the digital cinema industry\u2019s DCI-P3 colour space. The SW320\u2019s true 10-bit IPS panel and advanced 14-bit lookup table (LUT) deliver spectacular colour quality with precise \u22642 Delta E values. Technical mumbo jumbo aside, it basically means you get to see all the actual colors that are captured by your camera without feeling limited by your monitor’s capabilities.<\/p>\n

High Dynamic Range (HDR) content support<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Increasing the dynamic range between black and white for naturally realistic images, the SW320 and SW271 support HDR signals through both its HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

True 10-Bit Colour Depth, 14-Bit 3D LUT, <\/strong>\u0394<\/strong>E \u2264 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The monitors produce over a billion colours for ultra-smooth gradations. The 14-bit colour lookup table guarantees absolute colour accuracy as defined by the Comission Internationale de l\u2019Eclairge\u2019s (CIE) Delta E deviation of less than 2, which designates the finest colour fidelity, exceeding the limits of human vision.<\/p>\n

GamutDuo Mode allows simultaneous side-by-side display of content in two different colour spaces, such as Adobe RGB and sRGB. Photos taken can also be viewed in a black and white film effect, with three presets for photo previews prior to post-processing adjustments.<\/p>\n
