The blue body panels, crafted with metallic pigments and translucent materials, echo the luxurious finishes of high-end car paints both technically and aesthetically.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Initial Dream<\/strong><br \/>\nTo fully grasp MB&#038;F\u2019s connection to the automotive world, one must step back to 1985. From age 4 to 18, his sketches and drawings were exclusively of cars. The HM5 and HM8 Mark 2 feature an independent water-resistant chassis with body panels added, while the HMX and HM8 have monobloc construction. This colour, derived from metallic pigments in car paint, is mixed into resin with precision. The blue body panels are paired with a sporty and comfortable white calfskin strap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under the Hood<\/strong><br \/>\nThe HM8 Mark 2\u2019s technology is as impressive as its design. The titanium chassis is complex to mill, made even more challenging by the hardness of the alloy. Its production is 30 to 40 times more expensive than a dome sapphire, with high breakage risk during the many hours of production.
