Samsung first launched \u201cThe Frame\u201d TV in 2017. Its unique Art Mode allows the TV screen to display exclusive artworks ranging from paintings to personal photo libraries. Owners can also customise the TV with frame options. The latest 2024 edition even offers brand collaboration themes with Disney, transforming your TV to display exclusive Disney wallpapers and unique bezels.<\/p>\n

During the review, the new 2024 model (LS03D) was mounted on a TV stand and placed in the middle of my living room. At only 2.5 inches thick, the TV truly felt like a piece of digital art frame. A separate One Connect Box contains all the connectivity options and keeps the setup clean, allowing me to plug my external hard drive without having to dangle behind the TV.<\/p>\n

The one feature that I thoroughly enjoy is its matte display, eliminating any harsh reflection and allowing the family to watch programmes without the irritating reflection from the window. Powered by Samsung\u2019s Tizen operating system, many streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify were pre-installed. I was able to add more local streaming apps like CNA and Mewatch easily. It also supports multiple connectivity options from your PC, MultiView from your mobile, or control your IoT devices through the built-in SmartThings hub. The TV can also be remotely controlled via the SmartThings mobile app.<\/p>\n

While the display panel is not the latest Samsung technology, the Quantum Processor 4K still offers excellent contrast, vibrancy, and 100% colour volume. Supporting Dolby Atmos means the owner can enjoy surround audio experience from music streaming sites like Tidal and Apple Music. The Q-Symphony technology allows wireless pairing with support soundbars and the new Samsung Music Frame. All these features require a stable internet connection, so it is highly recommended to connect the Frame via LAN cable to your router to avoid any disruption, which I have experienced.<\/p>\n
