Girard-Perregaux is proud to announce a new expression of its iconic Laureato timepiece, first introduced in 1975. The Laureato Chronograph Ti49 merges the intricate design of its case with the ultra-desirable Grade 5 titanium, marking the first time this strong alloy has featured on a classic Laureato reference. Known for its strength, lightness, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties, Grade 5 titanium brings a new dimension to this timeless watch.<\/p>\n

The Laureato: A Legacy of Precision and Elegance<\/strong>
\nThe Laureato Chronograph Ti49 is housed in a 42 mm case that reflects the iconic design language of the original 1975 model.<\/p>\n

The octagonal bezel, circular plinth, and tonneau-shaped case interact with light to create a striking interplay of brilliance and shade. This complex design, now enhanced with Grade 5 titanium, underscores the meticulous craftsmanship that defines the Laureato.<\/p>\n

The dial, adorned with a Clous de Paris pattern, embraces a palette of monochromatic shades. Grey PVD-treated baton-style hour and minute hands, along with matching indexes lined with white luminescent material, ensure readability in dim light. The dial also features three snailed counters\u2014a 30-minute chronograph register, a 12-hour chronograph register, and a small seconds display\u2014alongside a date display between 4 and 5 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n

\nAt the heart of the Laureato Chronograph Ti49 lies the Manufacture Calibre GP03300. This self-winding movement, comprising 419 components, is beautifully finished with \u2018C\u00f4tes de Gen\u00e8ve\u2019, circular graining, satin finish, chamfering, mirror polishing, snailing, engravings, sunray finish, and blued steel screws. Each piece is meticulously crafted by Girard-Perregaux\u2019s skilled artisans.<\/p>\n
