If you are looking for an all-rounded, everyday laptop that provides the best bang for your buck then look no further because Lenovo\u2019s Yoga Pro 7i Gen 8 is the one for you. As a Lenovo user, I was thrilled to get my hands on this because it is a huge upgrade from my Ideapad 330s.<\/p>\n
Being a university student, I spend long hours glued to my laptop each day. Not only do I use it for school and work, but it is also my source of leisure. As such, having an affordable laptop which provides a combination of performance, battery life and durability is essential.<\/p>\n

At first glance, I was thrilled by its sleek, slim design. Whilst it is not the lightest option on the market, this is compensated for by its durability which meets military-grade standards. Created with sturdy aluminium tested to MIL-STD-810H standards, this is the ideal laptop for clumsy users such as myself.<\/p>\n
Being a student with a hectic schedule, I often attend meetings on the go and was grateful for the noise cancelling feature which allowed me to conduct them anywhere and anytime, even on the bus! Therefore, logging in was a breeze with the in-built IR sensor, which is a facial recognition device that allowed me to unlock my device just by looking at it for approximately 5 seconds.<\/p>\n

Whilst watching online lectures, I was amazed by the sound clarity produced by the four Dolby Atmos Speakers, double what I had in the Ideapad 330S. Moreover, the Smart Amplifier allowed me to boost the volume so I could capture every word of my Neuroscience lecture!<\/p>\n

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i Gen 8 is powered by Intel\u00ae i7-13700H processor, delivering high performance which makes this laptop a prime candidate for mulE taskers such as myself. I am constantly juggling multiple tasks and certainly feel the strain when my laptop hangs due to the high workload. As such, I was pleasantly surprised when the Yoga Pro 7i Gen 8 performed smoothly when I downloaded several large files simultaneously.<\/p>\n

This laptop is also equipped with Intel\u00ae Unison TM which seamlessly connected the laptop to my mobile to pick up calls and receive messages without reaching for my phone.<\/p>\n
To keep me awake during late-night study sessions, I often listen to music and was blown away by the richness and depth of the sound produced. Apart from studying.<\/p>\n

I am a budding food content creator and regularly edit photographs and videos. With its 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, editing on the Yoga\u00a0Pro 7i Gen 8 offered great colour coverage allowing me to edit my photos with greater accuracy, creating breath-taking visuals.<\/p>\n

Aside from food blogging, I am also an avid gamer. Built with Geforce RTX, the game graphics were remarkably realistic and its powerful intel processors ensured the game ran smoothly, sweeping me away into another land.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, I was impressed to see the laptop still holding up thanks to its large 73Wh battery providing roughly 15 hours of battery life. This is a drastic grade up from my Ideapad 330s which only lasts 4 hours. Another handy feature is the rapid charge express which gets me enough juice to last approximately 3 hours within 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
