This exclusive edition, inspired by the Dark Knight and his world, consists of a central tourbillon watch and a luminous sculpture made of aluminium. The Kross Studio team has designed a wristwatch that embodies Batman’s essence, featuring a dark design, precise movement, and the iconic Bat-Signal used to call the Super Hero. The watch showcases a central tourbillon cage shaped like the Bat emblem. It utilizes Kross Studio’s in-house developed and manufactured calibre KS 7’001, a mechanical hand-wound 3 Hz movement with a 5-day power reserve. The miniature Bat-Signal on top of the tourbillon cage allows light to filter through its louvred surface, revealing glimpses of the regulator beneath, and it completes one revolution per minute.<\/p>\n
The timepiece presents a unique way of displaying hours and minutes. The hour hand revolves around the tourbillon on a peripheral display mechanism, making a full 360\u00b0 orbit. The minutes are shown on a disk that completes one revolution per hour. The watch features a domed sapphire crystal and a low-profile, rounded black DLC-coated grade 5 titanium case measuring 45mm. In total, the movement and watch components consist of 283 hand-made parts, all assembled by Kross Studio in Gland, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Kross Studio focused on achieving a balance between utility, form, and function in the design of the timepiece. The D-ring crown, located on the case back, and the “Time Set” push button, positioned at 3 o’clock on the edge of the watch, maintain a low-profile design for comfortable wearing. They also enhance performance by enabling faster and easier winding and time-setting experiences. To wind the mainspring, the wearer simply lifts and turns the D-Ring on the case back, similar to winding a key. Setting the time is done by pressing the “Time Set” push button at 3 o’clock while turning the D-ring in either direction.<\/p>\n
The watch also offers ease of use when changing straps through Kross Studio’s interchangeable strap system. The straps can be removed and replaced with a simple click of the quick-release button. The set includes three strap options: a black calf leather strap embossed with Batman’s armour pattern, a black rubber strap with black stitching, and a red rubber strap with red stitching. All the straps feature a black rubber inlay for durability and comfort.<\/p>\n

As an integral part of each collector set, Kross Studio includes a functional Bat-Signal art piece. The Bat-Signal not only adds to the immersive experience of Gotham City and “The Batman” but also provides a dedicated space on its backside to safely store The Batman tourbillon or any other watch.<\/p>\n
