The latest example is the Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive 5 Days Lake Suwa Before Dawn SLGA021G whose dials reflects the color and the pattern of the waves on Lake Suwa near the Shinshu Watch Studio in the early morning hours.<\/p>\n

The embossed texture serves as a magnificent backdrop for the applied markers and hands that are meticulously faceted, brushed and polished in accordance with the brand\u2019s \u201cEvolution 9 Grammar of Design\u201d and the framed date window.<\/p>\n

As is typical for Grand Seiko, the stainless steel case which measures 40 mm in diameter and has a height of 11.8 mm is finished with a mix of brushed and Zaratsu-polished surfaces.<\/p>\n

It sports a water-resistance of 100 meters and contains the Spring Drive Caliber 9RA2 which offers a power reserve of 5 days and an accuracy of \u00b10.5 seconds per day. The movement comes to life through the sapphire case back where one can also spot a power reserve indicator.<\/p>\n
