First released in 1993, the G-SHOCK Master of G FROGMAN timepiece made waves for its capability of withstanding the ISO standard of 200 metres to effectively be certified as a dive watch.<\/p>\n
This year, as it celebrates 30 years, G-SHOCK is proud to release a new FROGMAN limited edition model that commemorates the milestone by recreating the look of the second-generation FROGMAN DW-8200. The DW-8200 became an instant hit when it was first released thanks to its iconic asymmetrical FROGMAN form and impactful design created by the resin bezel and titanium case.<\/p>\n

This new revival model deviates slightly from the original with a bezel and band made of biomass plastic, a first for the FROGMAN series. It also features a new solar panel that more faithfully reproduces the shape of the dial of the DW-8200 and supports the watch\u2019s Tough Solar power system.<\/p>\n
The colouring of the new model, matte black with pale gold, also recreates the look of the popular DW-8200B-9A. Turn the watch over and you\u2019ll find a special FROGMAN 30th<\/sup> anniversary \u201cShock Resist\u201d logo engraved on the back cover of the titanium case. The logo also appears on the display when the illumination is turned on.<\/p>\n The model comes with G-SHOCK\u2019s standard specifications of shock resistance, electro-luminescence backlight and afterglow and flash alert that rings with a buzzer sound for alarms and hourly time signals. Other technical features include a 1\/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, multi-function alarm, hourly time signal, full auto calendar, 12\/24-hour time format and regular timekeeping.
