We recently had the opportunity to try LG\u2019s C2 OLED TV (65\u201d) and S95QR Soundbar – we were\u00a0amazed at the picture and sound quality that they produced.<\/p>\n

Firstly, setting up was a breeze – simply plug and play. Without a wall mount this time, we laid the TV on the console. Took a few minutes to set up the Wi-Fi connection and we were good to go. You can benefit from Bluetooth 5, Dolby Atmos, 4 x HDMI 2.1 ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and 40W built-in speakers. Additionally, we connected the S95QR Soundbar instead – so that we could get the full LG home theatre experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Logging in to Netflix was quick and in no time we were able to see the impeccable image quality. Watching the newly released Resident Evil, there’s clear detail in every scene, and with so many dark scenarios, the blacks are really black. After that, we switched to YouTube and turned on a workout video. Since we were not directly in front of the screen we were able to see that this TV has great off-angle viewing quality, with no significant brightness or colour distortion across the panel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As for the sound test on the soundbar, we watched more movies on Netflix and listened to some music videos off YouTube. We were pleasantly surprised at how immersive the sound is when watching movies. It can crank up loud. We felt that the upfiring centre channel provides better overall speech performance than front firing. The rears enveloped sound from behind really well. Listening to spotify on this gizmo is a real joy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With amazing colours, even in a well-lit room, the C2 OLED TV is a great choice for the home. And with the S95QR Soundbar, voices were clear, bass had weight, and all the various sounds could be distinguished.<\/p>\n
