Sony\u2019s latest addition to their full-frame mirrorless camera line-up is compact, versatile, and perfect for all sorts of situations. The Sony \u03b17R III is an interchangeable lens camera that promises to be the ultimate combination of resolution and speed. It\u2019s not the only new thing in Sony\u2019s latest lineup though. The SEL24105G lens covers wide-angle to mid-telephoto range, while the upcoming SEL400F28GM lens is a robust super-telephoto lens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sony\u2019s New Full-frame \u03b17R III Captures Great Image Quality In A Compact Body<\/b><\/h2>\n

Thanks to a leap in image processing power and efficiency, the new \u03b17R III is able to combine some pretty impressive features in a compact, lightweight body.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has a 42.4MP high-resolution, back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor. The image sensor has a gapless on-chip lens design and anti-reflective coating on the sensor\u2019s seal glass. This results in light-sensitive, low-noise performance with a wide dynamic range.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u03b17R III also features an upgraded processing engine that boosts processing speed by about 1.8 times compared to its immediate predecessor, the \u03b17R II. This, together with the new front-end LSI, results in a camera that can shoot at faster speeds and at an impressive ISO range. So now you can see the results of your shots even quicker than before! No more waiting for whole seconds to see what appears on the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Sony<\/p>\n

The \u03b17R III is equipped with image stabilisation and a low-vibration shutter that reduces vibration and image blur in all modes. No more getting your perfect shots ruined with shaky hands. This stabilisation also extends to its high speed options, making the \u03b17R III perfect for capturing action-filled pictures, like your super cool running shots.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is also an anti-flicker function in the \u03b17R III. If you\u2019re shooting in artificial or fluorescent lighting, you can sometimes get exposure or colour anomalies, especially when shooting at high shutter speeds. This function minimises these anomalies, so you can shoot action-packed shots, even indoors!<\/span><\/p>\n

Not Just Photos, But Videos Too<\/b><\/h2>\n

Not only is the \u03b17R III an excellent camera for still photographs, it\u2019s also excellent for taking high quality videos. It makes use of its full pixel readout without pixel binning to record 5K (15-megapixels) of information, oversampling it to produce high quality 4K footage with exceptional detail and depth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond just that though, the \u03b17R III can also record full HD at 120 fps at up to 100mbps, so you can edit it into 4x or 5x slow motion without losing any frames.<\/span><\/p>\n

For all this processing power and image quality, it\u2019s impressive how compact the \u03b17R III is, and how long it can last without charging. The new model uses Sony\u2019s Z series battery, which has approximately 2.2 times the capacity of the W series battery that the \u03b17R II used. So now you don\u2019t have to worry about your camera dying on you when you shoot at remote locations! But you know, still bring a spare battery, just in case.<\/span><\/p>\n

FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS Standard Zoom aka SEL21405G lens is perfect for everyday use<\/b><\/h2>\n

This lens is the latest addition to Sony\u2019s expanding full-frame E-mount lens line-up. It covers the commonly used 24 to 105mm focal length range, and delivers outstanding imaging performance in a lightweight body. This makes it perfect for outdoor shooting, portraits, landscapes, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lens also features fast, precise, and quiet autofocus capabilities in both still and video shooting. So if you\u2019re taking wedding photos, you don\u2019t have to worry about interrupting an intimate moment with the sound of your camera!<\/span><\/p>\n

The lens also has Sony\u2019s original Nano AR coating to minimise flare and ghosting, and utilises a circular aperture to ensure high quality bokeh.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re wondering how heavy the lens is, it weighs in at approximately 663 grams, making it the lightest lens in its class. Now you don\u2019t have to worry about straining your wrists when you angle yourself to get the perfect shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

FE 400mm 42.8 GM OSS Super Telephoto aka SEL400F28GM Lens<\/b><\/h2>\n

Last week, Sony announced the development of the FE 400mm F2.8 GM OSS Super-telephoto lens. It has a target launch date of mid 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new lens offers a far-reaching 400mm focal length and F2.8 large aperture. It will also feature the high-resolution and beautiful bokeh of Sony\u2019s flagship G Master series lenses, making it perfect for all sorts of shooting situations. Whether you\u2019re shooting weddings, wildlife, sports, or anything, the SEL400F28GM lens is something you should definitely be looking out for.<\/span><\/p>\n
