The f\/2.0 lens does not protrude (25-100mm, 4x optical zoom) and keeps the camera compact. The double locking mechanism on the battery and connector compartments has been redesigned to be more resistant to accidental unlocks during use, while the lens mounting ring is now easier to remove.<\/p>\n New functions include an additional control dial next to the shutter button. For most shooting modes, the dial lets you change the exposure compensation easily (aperture in aperture priority mode).
