Wireless TVs have often come with one lingering question: Can picture quality truly match a wired connection? LG Electronics believes the answer is now yes.
LG has announced that its premium wireless TVs are the first in the world to receive TÜV Rheinland’s “True Wireless Lossless Vision” certification, marking a significant milestone for wireless home entertainment. The certification confirms that LG’s wireless TVs are capable of delivering visually lossless 4K picture quality without the compromises typically associated with wireless video transmission.
At the centre of this achievement is the new LG OLED evo W6, which supports wireless 4K transmission at refresh rates of up to 165Hz, making it especially appealing for gamers, sports enthusiasts and movie lovers who demand smooth, high-quality visuals.
According to LG, the certification verifies that its proprietary wireless transmission technology preserves colour accuracy, image detail and HDR tone reproduction, ensuring viewers enjoy the same level of visual fidelity previously expected only from traditional wired TV setups.
TÜV Rheinland developed a dedicated testing standard to assess several critical areas, including input lag, gamma tracking and colour performance. Following extensive evaluations, LG’s wireless TVs met the required standards for visually lossless performance under international testing conditions.

One of the standout products in LG’s certified lineup is the OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV. Designed with a sleek, ultra-thin profile measuring approximately 9mm, the television is intended to blend seamlessly into modern living spaces.
The experience is further enhanced by LG’s Zero Connect Box, which houses all connected devices and inputs separately from the TV itself. The box can be positioned up to 10 metres away from the screen, reducing cable clutter and giving users greater flexibility in designing their entertainment setup.
LG also highlighted its Reflection Free Premium technology on the OLED evo W6, which helps minimise screen reflections and maintain contrast, colour and detail even in bright environments. This allows viewers to enjoy the wireless viewing experience comfortably throughout the day.
With TÜV-certified wireless performance now extending across both OLED and LCD technologies, LG is positioning its wireless TV portfolio as a new benchmark for premium home entertainment, combining design freedom with independently verified picture quality.
The LG OLED evo W6 will be available in Singapore through LG Singapore’s Online Brand Store from June 2026.
