Hublot Brings Mediterranean Summer to the Wrist with Vibrant New Big Bang Ceramic Collection

Hublot is celebrating the spirit of summer once again with the launch of its latest Hublot Summer 2026 collection, unveiling a series of colourful Big Bang timepieces that showcase the Swiss watchmaker’s unrivalled expertise in high-tech coloured ceramic. Inspired by the pastel hues of the Mediterranean coastline, the new collection combines innovative materials with sophisticated in-house movements, offering a fresh interpretation of luxury sports watches for the warmer season.

Since launching its annual Hublot Summer campaign in 2017, the brand has transformed seasonal watch releases into immersive lifestyle experiences centred around the Mediterranean. This year’s collection continues that tradition, embracing softer pastel shades while retaining the bold character and cutting-edge engineering that have become synonymous with Hublot.

Big Bang Tourbillon,
Big Bang Unico Flyback Chronograph

Leading the collection are two limited-edition Big Bang Summer models that share the same striking pastel colour palette of mint green, soft pink and sky blue, but differ in their mechanical heart. The first is the 42mm Big Bang Unico Flyback Chronograph, limited to 200 pieces, while the second is the highly exclusive 44mm Big Bang Tourbillon, produced in just 10 pieces worldwide.

Both watches feature Hublot’s signature use of multi-coloured high-tech ceramic, with microblasted and polished cases blending pastel pink and mint green, complemented by a sky-blue ceramic bezel and caseback. The result is a playful yet sophisticated design that captures the changing colours of Mediterranean skies—from soft morning light to glowing sunset horizons.

Unico movement

The Big Bang Unico Flyback Chronograph houses Hublot’s in-house Unico movement, one of the industry’s most advanced integrated chronograph calibres. Continuously refined since its debut in 2010, the movement incorporates five patented innovations, including dual oscillating clutches, a constant-pressure minute counter system and a zero-friction ratchet blocker, delivering smooth chronograph operation, exceptional precision and outstanding mechanical efficiency.

For collectors seeking something even more exclusive, the Big Bang Tourbillon takes the concept further with a transparent pink sapphire crystal dial that fully exposes the intricate manufacture HUB6035 automatic tourbillon movement. A dial-side micro-rotor enhances visual depth while improving winding efficiency, and the movement offers a generous 72-hour power reserve. The transparent architecture creates a dramatic display of mechanical artistry that perfectly complements the vibrant ceramic exterior.

Both limited editions are supplied with three interchangeable white-lined rubber straps in sky blue, mint green and pink. Thanks to Hublot’s One-Click strap system, owners can effortlessly swap colours to match different outfits, occasions or moods throughout the summer.

Alongside the headline models, Hublot has also expanded its Big Bang collection with three new monochrome ceramic colourways in Peach, Mint and Petrol Blue. These softer ceramic tones showcase another side of Hublot’s material expertise, demonstrating that the brand’s high-tech ceramics can be just as elegant as they are bold.

Making its debut in this collection is the 33mm Big Bang without diamond embellishments, allowing the vibrant monochrome ceramic colours to take centre stage. Powered by an automatic three-hand movement, the watches feature matching ceramic cases, bezels, dials and structured rubber straps for a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Meanwhile, the 42mm Big Bang Titanium Peach Ceramic offers a sportier interpretation. Combining a lightweight titanium case with Hublot’s manufacture Unico flyback chronograph movement, the watch incorporates peach-coloured ceramic on the bezel, skeletonised dial, hands and rubber strap while maintaining 100 metres of water resistance for everyday versatility.

The new collection also reinforces Hublot’s position as a pioneer in coloured ceramic technology. Since 2018, the brand has continuously expanded its exclusive palette of high-tech ceramic colours through proprietary manufacturing techniques and multiple patented innovations. Hublot says its ceramic material is up to 300 Vickers harder than conventional ceramic, delivering exceptional scratch resistance while maintaining long-lasting colour brilliance.

Designed to transition effortlessly from beachside afternoons to elegant evening gatherings, the Big Bang Summer 2026 collection blends vibrant seasonal styling with advanced Swiss watchmaking. Every model is backed by Hublot’s 5+5 warranty programme, extending international coverage to a total of 10 years for added peace of mind.

With its latest pastel-inspired ceramic creations, Hublot once again proves that luxury sports watches can be both technically sophisticated and full of personality—bringing the colours, energy and optimism of a Mediterranean summer directly to the wrist.

The Big Bang Summer editions and the Big Bang ceramic editions are available at selected Hublot points of sale as well as online at hublot.com and benefit from Hublot’s 5+5 warranty, extending international coverage up to ten years.
