Sony Electronics has introduced two new wireless turntables, the PS-LX3BT and PS-LX5BT, expanding its lineup with models designed to make vinyl listening more accessible while maintaining the depth and warmth that enthusiasts value. Built for both newcomers and seasoned listeners, the new turntables blend intuitive operation, wireless flexibility and thoughtful craftsmanship.

At the core of both models is simplicity. With one-button full auto playback, users can start enjoying records instantly without complex setup. Bluetooth connectivity supports aptX, aptX Adaptive and Hi-Res Wireless Audio, allowing listeners to experience detailed sound even without cables. For those who prefer a wired setup, both turntables also offer traditional audio connections alongside USB output, making it easy to digitise vinyl collections.
Sony has paid close attention to playback stability and sound quality. Each model features a high-quality cartridge, aluminium platter and transparent dust cover, ensuring consistent performance and protection. Support for both 33⅓ and 45 RPM records means compatibility with a wide range of vinyl formats, from classic LPs to singles. Packaging is also fully recycled, reflecting Sony’s continued commitment to sustainability.
PS-LX3BT
The PS-LX3BT is positioned as the ideal starting point for vinyl listeners. Its clean, lifestyle-friendly design fits naturally into modern living spaces, while the built-in phono equaliser and attached audio cable allow for quick, hassle-free setup.

It delivers a warm analogue sound signature with smooth tracking, making it well-suited for casual, everyday listening.
PS-LX5BT
For users seeking a more refined experience, the PS-LX5BT builds on this foundation with enhanced engineering and materials. A rigid one-piece body, aluminium tonearm and carefully designed circuitry work together to minimise vibration and preserve audio purity. Paired with a higher-grade cartridge, the result is a richer sound with greater depth and a wider soundstage, catering to more focused listening sessions.

The PS-LX5BT also features a gold-plated audio jack for improved wired performance, while its minimalist aesthetic elevates both the listening experience and the surrounding space. It is a model designed not just to play records, but to showcase them.
Both turntables are available in Singapore from today, priced at S$389 for the PS-LX3BT and S$539 for the PS-LX5BT. As part of the launch promotion running until 30 April 2026, customers can enjoy cashback offers, bringing prices down to S$349 and S$479 respectively, with the PS-LX5BT also bundled with a complimentary cleaning kit.
Sony is also offering hands-on trial sessions through My Sony Academy until 19 April at selected Sony Stores, where participants will receive a S$20 Starbucks voucher.
