A Sculptural Expression of Time
The Geneva collection is distinguished by its cushion-shaped case, a modern reinterpretation of Gérald Genta’s original 1970s design. Softer in form yet equally bold, the case achieves a delicate balance between strength and subtlety.
Neither strictly round nor square, the silhouette is enhanced by gadroon detailing and a sophisticated interplay of polished and satin-finished surfaces. This dynamic use of light elevates the watch’s understated aesthetic while reinforcing its contemporary appeal. Each case is meticulously crafted in-house at La Fabrique des Boîtiers, reflecting the Maison’s commitment to precision and quality.
A Contemporary Take on Classic Proportions
Designed by Matthieu Hegi, Artistic Director at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the new time-only models introduce a refined 38mm case size and a slimmer profile. The proportions are tailored for versatility, offering a comfortable fit while maintaining a distinct Gérald Genta identity.
Hegi has also reworked the lugs, opting for a single, broader and shorter lug on each side, a subtle yet impactful design choice that sharpens the watch’s overall silhouette.
“I wanted to capture the intuitive, instinctive genius and artistry of Mr Genta,” Hegi noted, underscoring the balance between heritage and contemporary design.
Two Interpretations, One Identity
The new releases are presented in two-tone variations, each offering a distinct aesthetic while remaining true to the collection’s design language.
The Geneva Time Only Marrone embraces warmth with a rose gold 4N case and hands, paired with a grained brass dial featuring a gradient smoked effect. The rich, brown-toned palette is complemented by a matching leather strap, creating a refined, slightly retro character with a subtle bronze glow.
In contrast, the Geneva Time Only Grafite introduces a cooler, more modern expression. Its white gold case is paired with a silver-toned grained dial, while rounded gold hands and indexes provide depth and visual contrast. A grey calfskin leather strap completes the look, reinforcing its sleek, contemporary appeal.

Powering both models is the Zenith Elite GG-005P automatic movement, visible through an open caseback. The calibre features a redesigned in-house oscillating mass, combining technical performance with aesthetic refinement.
Comprising 158 components, the movement operates at a 4Hz frequency and offers a 50-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable performance for everyday wear. Each component is carefully finished, reflecting the attention to detail synonymous with high watchmaking.
