Innovation in Motion: InnoEX and Hong Kong Electronics Fair Return This April 2026

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host two major technology exhibitions from 13-16 April 2026. Both the InnoEX and the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The twin fairs will showcase global innovation and technology achievements, the latest consumer electronics products, and advanced tech solutions.

Industry professionals, investors, buyers, and technology users from a wide range of sectors
and SMEs are encouraged to attend. In 2025, the two exhibitions drew more than 2,800 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, attracting about 88,000 buyers from 148 countries and regions.

Exploring the future of AI+, robotics and smart city technologies
InnoEX serves as a flagship event of the Business of Innovation and Technology Week, organised by the HKTDC and the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government. The exhibition highlights cutting-edge global innovations under the theme “Innovate • Automate • Elevate.” InnoEX 2026 will focus on five key technology areas: AI+, Robotics, the Low-altitude Economy (including unmanned aerial vehicles and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft), Property Technology, and Retail Technology.

The exhibition has previously helped businesses build strategic partnerships. For example, the Digital Pilipinas and the International Digital Economies Association signed a distribution agreement with UK exhibitor Unifi.id to introduce its smart card system for buildings to the Philippines, with plans to expand to other emerging markets. Meanwhile, Xi’an Meinan Biotechnology Co. Ltd entered a strategic cooperation agreement with H & Y Building Decoration Electrical Engineering (HK) to enhance construction quality in Hong Kong and overseas projects using Meinan’s waterproof mortar technology.

Where global brands unveil the newest innovations in electronics
Now in its 22nd edition, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) continues to connect international exhibitors with global buyers while showcasing the latest developments in consumer electronics. The 2026 edition will highlight innovations across Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets, and Pet Intelligence.

The fair will feature more than 20 themed product zones. These include the Hall of Fame, which will present over 500 globally recognised electronics brands; the Tech Hall, dedicated to next-generation electronics and modern lifestyle solutions; the Immersive Experience Zone, where visitors can try wearable technologies and interactive games; and the Start-Up Zone, spotlighting emerging innovations and entrepreneurial ideas.

Additional zones will cover categories such as Energy Storage & E-mobility, Home Appliances, Audio-Visual Products, Computing & Gaming, and Automotive & In-Vehicle Electronics. Exhibitors from previous editions have reported strong business outcomes.

Shenzhen Antop Technology Co. shared that it connected with numerous potential buyers from India and South America during the exhibition, receiving around 50 leads in the first two days, with roughly a third showing strong collaboration potential. The company also discussed a potential contract worth about USD2.5 million. Meanwhile, Hong Kong medical technology exhibitor CYBERMED engaged in business negotiations with buyers from Mainland China and the Middle East, with each order valued at around USD200,000.

Experience the next wave of robotics through interactive demos and live performances
Both fairs will also introduce RoboPark, a dedicated robotics showcase featuring immersive demonstrations and live performances. Visitors can explore around 100 robots, including humanoids, robotic arms, quadrupeds, and autonomous robots, and applications spanning three main areas: Entertainment & Social, Commercial & Industrial, and Health & Living at the new Zone.

Throughout the exhibition period, a series of forums, presentations, and networking events will bring together industry experts to share insights and foster collaboration. Start-ups will also gain valuable opportunities to present their ideas, connect with investors, and receive guidance on business development.

The fairs will adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, supported by the Click2Match smart business matching platform running from 6-23 April 2026, allowing buyers and exhibitors to connect online. In addition, the Scan2Match feature enables seamless offline-to-online engagement. Using the HKTDC Marketplace App, buyers can scan exhibitors’ QR codes to bookmark companies, explore product information, view e-floor plans, and continue discussions with exhibitors even after the fair ends.
