James Dyson Unveils 11 New Problem-Solving Innovations

Dyson unveiled 11 new products spanning floor care, hair care, robotics and air treatment.

Taking to the stage with the ultra-slim Dyson PencilVac™ in hand, the founder highlighted Dyson’s long-standing mission to rethink everyday products from the inside out. He spoke about how advances in motors, aerodynamics, heaters and separation systems have allowed Dyson to radically change product formats while maintaining high performance.

Next-generation hair care, powered by a new motor
Among the headline launches was the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™, a next-level multi-styler and hair dryer powered by the newly developed Hyperdymium™2 motor. Delivering twice the air pressure of its predecessor, the device promises faster drying and easier wrapping, while maintaining Dyson’s commitment to styling with no heat damage. With six styling functions in one tool, it expands Dyson’s hair care ecosystem for users seeking versatility and performance.

Dyson also introduced its most powerful hair dryer yet, the Supersonic™, featuring a compact 38mm diameter design, a laminar flow heater and intelligent RFID-enabled attachments that automatically adapt airflow and temperature for precise styling results.

Redefining home cleaning — wet, dry and robotic
Floor care took centre stage with the debut of the Dyson V16 Piston Animal, designed to deep-clean across all floor types while tackling long hair without tangling. Powered by a 900W Hyperdymium™ motor and featuring Dynamic Cyclones that activate in boost mode, the cordless vacuum delivers high suction while intelligently adjusting to different surfaces. An upgraded Submarine™2.0 wet roller head also enables simultaneous vacuuming and floor washing, positioning the machine as a whole-home cleaning solution.

Hygiene was a key focus in the new Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene, a lightweight wet and dry cleaner that eliminates traditional filters.

By keeping dirty water and debris enclosed within the cleaner head, the system prevents bacterial build-up, odours and loss of suction — while ensuring only clean water touches the floor.

Dyson’s robotics ambitions were showcased with the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ Ai robot, which combines wet and dry cleaning with AI-powered stain detection. Using an onboard camera, green LED illumination and smart navigation, the robot can recognise nearly 200 types of objects, clean around them intelligently and repeatedly scrub stubborn stains until they are fully removed.

Smaller, quieter and more powerful air treatment
Dyson also expanded its air care portfolio with the HushJet™ Purifier Compact, a small-format purifier engineered to deliver high airflow at remarkably low noise levels. Operating at just 24 dB in sleep mode, the purifier captures 99.97% of pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, offering near-silent purification for bedrooms and workspaces.

Meanwhile, the iconic bladeless fan returned in updated form as the Dyson Cool™ CF1, now app-connected and equipped with enhanced oscillation controls and sleep mode.

The Hot+Cool™ HF1 Remote Link Pre-Heat fan heater also received an upgrade, becoming Dyson’s first connected fan heater with quieter operation and faster heating.

The slimmest vacuum yet — and a new direction in beauty
One of the most striking reveals of the night was the Dyson PencilVac™, billed as the world’s slimmest vacuum cleaner. With a 38mm diameter body, dual green illumination and app connectivity, it introduces a new linear dust separation system that compresses debris, allowing the ultra-thin bin to hold significantly more dirt than its size suggests.

Beyond machines, Dyson also stepped further into beauty with the Dyson Omega™ Nourishing Range, its first haircare products made with ingredients grown on Dyson farms.

Combining agricultural expertise with hair science, the range uses omega-rich oils to nourish, smooth and detangle hair, marking a new chapter in Dyson’s approach to holistic hair health.

Innovation through re-engineering
James Dyson reflected on the company’s long-standing obsession with miniaturisation, performance and problem-solving. He emphasised Dyson’s drive to make products smaller and lighter while dramatically improving performance — a philosophy evident across the night’s announcements.
