At CES 2026, LLVision officially unveiled Leion Hey2, the world’s first AI-powered professional AR translation glasses, marking the product’s U.S. launch. Designed specifically for real-world, face-to-face communication, Hey2 transforms spoken language into live subtitles displayed directly in the wearer’s line of sight, keeping conversations natural, fluid, and uninterrupted.
Supporting more than 100 languages and dialects, Leion Hey2 delivers sub-500 millisecond translation latency in real-world conditions and offers six to eight hours of continuous translation on a single charge. The result is real-time multilingual communication that feels immediate and human, without forcing users to look down at a phone or isolate themselves with earbuds.
“This is what translation really means to us,” said Dr Wu Fei, Founder and CEO of LLVision. “It’s not just about words. It’s about giving people the freedom to speak, to connect, and to be truly understood.”
Founded in 2014, LLVision has spent over a decade building integrated AI and AR solutions focused on practical multilingual communication, with Leion Hey2 representing the most refined expression of that vision to date.
Translation as a Purpose, Not a Feature
As global communication becomes increasingly common, many translation tools improve accuracy but compromise human presence. Smartphones divert attention, earbuds isolate users, and many smart glasses try to do too much. These accessories treat translation as just another feature among entertainment, recording, or social tools.

Leion Hey2 takes the opposite approach. Translation is not an add-on; it is the core purpose of the device. From hardware architecture to interaction design, every element is optimised for live, face-to-face conversation.
Spoken language is converted into real-time subtitles that appear directly in the wearer’s field of view, allowing dialogue to unfold naturally without pauses or interruptions. With sub-500 ms latency, Hey2 preserves conversational rhythm, tone, and emotional nuance, critical details that are often lost when translation lags behind speech.
Battery performance reinforces this professional focus. Hey2 delivers six to eight hours of continuous translation and up to 96 hours of total use with its charging case, making it suitable for full workdays, international conferences, travel, and multilingual classrooms without constant recharging.
Head Up, Human Connection First
Leion Hey2 is built around a head-up AR display that keeps information where conversations actually happen, right in front of you. There’s no phone to hold, no device to share, and no need to break eye contact mid-sentence.

Using waveguide optics paired with a micro-LED light engine, Hey2 displays crisp, stable subtitles across a range of s varying lighting conditions. The visual presentation is intentionally restrained, minimising distraction while keeping text readable during extended use.
Because subtitles are always visible, Hey2 also supports real-time captioning for Deaf and hard-of-hearing users, expanding accessibility without requiring additional devices or workflows.
Engineered for Real-World Conversations
Face-to-face interaction remains the most demanding scenario for real-time translation, and Hey2 is engineered with that reality in mind.

In Free Talk mode, directional audio pickup prioritises the person directly in front of the wearer, emphasising voices within an approximately 60-degree forward range while suppressing side conversations and ambient noise. This eliminates the need to manage speakers or adjust settings during conversation.
A four-microphone array with 360-degree spatial voice detection identifies the active speaker’s direction before processing begins. Proprietary beamforming technology and neural noise reduction then isolate speech in real time, maintaining clarity and accuracy in meetings, group discussions, and noisy public spaces.
By aligning audio pickup with natural human posture, who you face, not who speaks the loudest, Hey2 keeps translation intuitive, focused, and uninterrupted.
AI That Supports, Not Distracts
Beyond translation, Leion Hey2 includes an optional AI Q&A feature designed for quick, contextual information rather than continuous interaction.

Users simply press the right touchpad, ask a question naturally, and view the response directly in their line of sight with no phone, no typing. This makes the feature ideal for museums, exhibitions, city walks, and travel stops where brief insights enhance the experience without pulling attention away from the real world.
AI on Hey2 is intentionally constrained. It offers help when requested, then steps back, reinforcing the device’s primary mission of helping people understand one another in real time.
Designed to Be Worn, Not Noticed
Weighing just 49 grams, Leion Hey2 is designed to blend seamlessly into daily life, both visually and socially.

A lightweight magnesium-lithium alloy frame, adjustable titanium nose pads, and a classic browline silhouette combine comfort with familiarity. A stepless spring hinge adapts naturally to different face shapes, ensuring stability throughout long days of use.
Equally important is what Hey2 leaves out. There is no camera and no external speakers. Audio input is used solely for translation, allowing the glasses to remain discreet and appropriate in professional, educational, and diplomatic settings.
All data processing follows GDPR-aligned privacy principles and runs on secure cloud infrastructure built on Microsoft Azure. Users maintain full control, with clear options to review, manage, or delete translation history at any time.
The result is AR glasses that look and feel like everyday eyewear, delivering powerful real-time translation without drawing attention or raising privacy concerns.
Proven in High-Stakes, Real-World Environments
Leion Hey2 has already been validated in environments where accuracy and reliability are critical.

In 2025, the glasses were demonstrated at the United Nations Accessibility for All Exhibition in Geneva and used at diplomatic and international forums. Large-scale live trials included a two-hour presentation delivered entirely through the glasses by LLVision’s CEO.
The technology has also supported award-winning accessibility research. LLVision served as an industry partner on a project recognised with the AIS Impact Award 2025 for improving communication access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
The first-generation Leion Hey shipped more than 30,000 units worldwide, with users averaging 150 minutes of daily use, and was named among the UNESCO Netexplo Innovation Award Top 10. Following Hey2’s global unveiling in Seoul, the device generated more than 10,000 pre-orders in a single day, highlighting strong demand for translation technology built for real-world use.
Pricing and Availability
Leion Hey2 is now available for order in the United States via LLVision’s official online store, priced at USD 549. From January 6 to January 31, customers can pre-order Leion Hey2 at a special price of USD 499.
