Dell Unveils Two World-First UltraSharp Monitors at CES 2026

Dell Technologies is redefining the professional display landscape with the launch of two groundbreaking UltraSharp monitors at CES 2026. Leading the announcement are a massive 52-inch curved 6K ultrawide productivity monitor built for data-heavy workflows, and a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED display engineered for creators who demand absolute colour precision. Both monitors introduce world-first innovations, advanced eye comfort technologies, and industry-leading sustainable designs.

For more than a decade, Dell’s UltraSharp lineup has set the benchmark for professional monitors. Trusted by executives, engineers, creatives and IT professionals worldwide, UltraSharp displays have consistently delivered best-in-class performance, reliability and innovation. With this latest launch, Dell expands that legacy with two trailblazing additions: the Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor and the Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor. Bothare designed to meet the evolving demands of modern professional workflows.

Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U5226KW)
Designed for professionals who manage vast volumes of information across multiple applications, the Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor is a true productivity powerhouse. It is the world’s first 52-inch ultrawide curved 6K monitor with IPS Black technology, delivering a single, seamless canvas that replaces complex multi-monitor setups.

With its expansive 51.5-inch curved display, the UltraSharp 52 enables financial traders, data scientists, engineers and executives to view more information at once without distraction. Compared to a setup consisting of two 27-inch QHD monitors and one 43-inch 4K display, this monitor offers 61,000 more pixels and 25% higher pixel density, delivering sharper text and finer detail while occupying less physical desk space.

At the core of the experience is a 6K resolution display with 129 PPI and a 120Hz refresh rate, paired with IPS Black technology for deeper blacks, enhanced contrast and superior colour coverage. The result is exceptional visual clarity, whether working with dense spreadsheets, complex code, or detailed technical diagrams.

Eye comfort is a major focus of the UltraSharp 52. It is the first monitor to achieve the highest tier of TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, emitting up to 60% less blue light compared to competing displays, all without compromising colour accuracy. An integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness and colour temperature to match surrounding conditions, helping to reduce eye strain during long work sessions.

Connectivity and multitasking are equally impressive. Users can connect up to four PCs simultaneously, with Dell’s new internal multi-stream transport technology working alongside Picture-by-Picture to treat each screen partition as an independent monitor. Built-in KVM functionality allows seamless control of all connected systems using a single keyboard and mouse.

A single-cable Thunderbolt 4 connection simplifies desk setups while delivering up to 140W of power to charge laptops, supporting both Windows and macOS systems. The monitor also features pop-out quick-access ports, including two 27W USB-C ports and one 10W USB-A port, making it easy to connect peripherals and accessories on demand.

Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor (U3226Q)
For creative professionals, accuracy is everything. The Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor is purpose-built for colour-critical workflows in media, entertainment and design, delivering uncompromising visual fidelity and control. Recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Award honoree, it is the world’s first commercial QD-OLED monitor to combine DisplayHDR True Black 500 with an Anti-Glare Low Reflectance (AGLR) coating.

The 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel delivers an infinite contrast ratio of 1.5M:1, producing true blacks, vibrant highlights and exceptional depth. Support for DisplayHDR True Black 500 and Dolby Vision HDR ensures stunning dynamic range, while the QD-OLED technology delivers outstanding brightness and colour purity.

Out of the box, the monitor achieves Delta E <1 colour accuracy, covering 99% of DCI-P3 and Display P3, making it ideal for film editing, colour grading, broadcast production and product design. Additional wide gamut support includes Adobe RGB, BT2020, sRGB and BT709, ensuring consistent results across different deliverables and platforms.

A standout feature is the integrated colourimeter, which stores calibration results directly on the monitor itself. This enables consistent colour performance across systems and allows IT teams to perform calibration remotely without physical access. Programmable direct keys offer quick switching between preferred colour profiles, while Dell Colour Management and Dell Colour Management Console provide deep control over monitor settings and centralised fleet management.

Unlike traditional glossy OLED displays that struggle in bright environments, the UltraSharp 32 features the industry’s first Anti-Glare Low Reflectance coating on a QD-OLED panel. Combined with DisplayHDR True Black 500, this ensures excellent visibility and colour consistency even in well-lit studios, making it a standout tool for professional creators.

Designed with Sustainability in Mind
Sustainability is built into every aspect of Dell’s new UltraSharp monitors. Both displays are constructed using environmentally responsible materials, including up to 90% post-consumer recycled plastics, 100% recycled aluminium, up to 50% recycled steel, and at least 20% recycled glass. Packaging is equally eco-conscious, shipping in boxes made from 100% renewable and recyclable materials.
