The world’s best-selling AI glasses just got a major upgrade. Meta has officially introduced Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), the next evolution of its hugely popular smart eyewear lineup — now with double the battery life, sharper video capture, expanded Meta AI features, improved translation capabilities, and a fresh selection of frame styles and colours.

Since launch, Ray-Ban Meta glasses have become the #1 selling AI glasses globally, with millions of units sold. Fans use them as a hands-free camera, a real-time translator, an AI assistant, and a discreet wearable audio player — all wrapped in Ray-Ban’s iconic designs. With Gen 2, Meta keeps everything people love while upgrading the tech where it matters most.
Up to 2X Battery Life for All-Day Wear
One of the biggest improvements in Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) is extended battery life. A fully charged pair now lasts up to eight hours of typical use, almost doubling what Gen 1 offered.

That means full-day coverage — from sunrise hikes to night-time concerts — without needing a recharge. And when you do need power, fast charging gets you 50% battery in just 20 minutes.

The included charging case provides up to 48 hours of additional power, making the glasses road-trip-ready, travel-friendly, and built for nonstop creators.
Sharper, Smoother, More Cinematic Video in 3K Ultra HD
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) now features 3K Ultra HD video capture with ultrawide HDR — delivering clearer, more detailed, more lifelike footage with over twice the pixels of the previous generation.
Video creators will appreciate:
● Up to 60 fps capture
● More vivid colours and contrast
● Wider field of view
● Better actiostabilisation on
And Meta isn’t stopping there. Later this fall, all Meta AI glasses will get new hands-free capture modes:
● Hyperlapse for fast-paced, time-warped videos
● Slow motion for dramatic, cinematic moments
Smarter Meta AI: Conversation Focus and Expanded Live Translation
At Meta Connect, the company previewed conversation focus, a powerful new feature arriving soon.

Using the glasses’ open-ear speakers, conversation focus amplifies the voice of the person you’re speaking with while reducing ambient noise — ideal for cafes, restaurants, trains, parks, and other busy environments. It will arrive as a software update for both Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta HSTN models.
Live translation also gets smarter: German and Portuguese join the lineup starting today. Coming soon, users will be able to hold back-and-forth conversations across six languages, even offline, as long as the necessary language pack is downloaded.

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) is expanding globally. Starting today, customers in Switzerland and the Netherlands can order Gen 2 models, with Brazil joining the list soon.
Price and Availability
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) will soon be available in Singapore. You’ll find models like Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner with various lens types (Transitions, Polarised) and prices starting around S$680-S$700+ for standard, with prescription versions costing more.
