TAG Heuer brings the electric thrill of racing after dark to the wrist with its latest creation: the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph, a bold, limited-edition timepiece that reimagines one of watchmaking’s most iconic designs through the neon glow and adrenaline of Formula 1 night circuits.
A Contemporary Take on an Icon
Since its debut in 1969, the TAG Heuer Monaco has stood apart for its square case, left-side crown, and disruptive design language. Revered by collectors, beloved by racing enthusiasts, and immortalised by Steve McQueen in Le Mans (1971), the Monaco has become one of the most recognisable watches in history.

The Monaco’s legacy has been defined by innovation — from measuring motorsport’s raw pulse to evolving with modern materials and movements — all while preserving its rebellious spirit and racing DNA. This latest edition continues that story, inspired by the spectacle of cities that ignite in colour when the sun dips and the engines fire.
When the Sun Goes Down, the Race Begins
The new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph embraces the drama of night racing, capturing the atmosphere of neon-lit circuits and high-speed contrasts.

Its 39mm black DLC-coated titanium case is lightweight yet resilient, framing a vivid, architectural skeleton dial that shifts from violet to deep blue, echoing the transition from dusk to night.
The piece comes alive in darkness through a theatrical use of Super-LumiNova® in three distinct tones:
• Blue for chronograph elements
• Turquoise for key hands
• Green for timekeeping and date visibility
The skeletonised arches glow from within, while the sapphire caseback is finished with an iridescent metallised gradient ranging from blue to purple, extending the watch’s chromatic personality.
Precision and Performance at Its Core
Powering the timepiece is TAG Heuer’s in-house Calibre TH20-00, engineered for accuracy and durability. Visible from both the front and back, the movement showcases TAG Heuer’s pursuit of mechanical excellence.

Each watch is paired with a strap that blends black rubber and embossed calfskin, finished with purple stitching that echoes the luminosity and colour gradients of the dial. Every piece is individually numbered, with only 600 units produced worldwide.
A New Chapter for Monaco
More than a stylistic evolution, this edition embodies Monaco’s longstanding reputation for breaking the rules.

It celebrates those who thrive in the glow of speed, motion, and the unexpected — a timepiece that captures what night racing feels like rather than simply what it looks like.
