Samsung Unveils P9 Express microSD Express Card for Next-Gen Gaming and Professional Workflows\

Samsung Electronics has introduced the Samsung P9 Express, a new line of microSD Express cards engineered for high-speed gaming, creative production, and demanding professional environments. Designed using the PCIe interface and NVMe protocol, the P9 Express delivers significantly faster data performance than traditional UHS-I cards, making it ideal for modern devices and next-generation platforms such as the Nintendo Switch™ 2.

Built for Modern Gaming
Available in 256GB and 512GB, the P9 Express caters to players who frequently download expansive titles, DLC, and updates, often exceeding the internal storage limits of consoles. It also supports households where multiple users share the same console, enabling large libraries of games to coexist seamlessly.

High-Speed Performance for Creators and Professionals
When paired with a dedicated SD Express interface, the P9 Express unlocks sequential read speeds of up to 800MB/s — up to four times faster than UHS-I cards. This provides creators with a smooth workflow for transferring large video files, images, and project assets to PCs and workstations. Its performance is further enhanced by Host Memory Buffer (HMB) support, which uses the host device’s memory to accelerate data access.

Powered by SSD-Grade Technology
Samsung integrates advanced technologies typically found in its SSDs, including Dynamic Thermal Guard (DTG). This system automatically monitors and regulates temperature to prevent overheating and ensure stable, consistent performance during long gaming sessions or extended data workloads.

Together, HMB, DTG, and the PCIe/NVMe architecture deliver near-instant responsiveness, reduced load times, and smooth game transitions — ideal for next-gen gaming experiences.

Built to Withstand Real-World Conditions
The P9 Express features 6-proof durability, protecting data against:

● Water immersion

● Extreme temperatures

● X-ray exposure

● Drops

● Dust

● Pressure

Whether safeguarding saved games or preserving valuable media content, the card ensures long-term reliability and data integrity.
