JBL has unveiled pricing and availability for its latest Dolby Atmos soundbars, the Bar Gen 4 series. The lineup features five models: 1300MK2, 1000MK2, 800MK2, 500MK2, and 300MK2, each designed to offer powerful, room-filling audio across different budgets and home setups.
JBL Bar 1300MK2 (Flagship)
The star of the series is the JBL Bar 1300MK2, engineered for premium home cinema performance. It comes with a dual 8-inch driver subwoofer and two detachable wireless speakers, delivering a massive 2,470W of total power.
With six up-firing drivers and an upgraded AI Sound Boost, the soundbar supports true Dolby Atmos and DTS: X 3D surround sound with reduced distortion. The detachable wireless speakers can be placed anywhere in the room, or even used independently via Bluetooth, for a fully immersive experience.
JBL is also offering the optional One Commander, a wireless transmitter that connects the soundbar to most TVs or projectors without cables, helping maintain a clean setup.
JBL Bar 1000MK2
A step down from the flagship, the JBL Bar 1000MK2 packs two up-firing drivers, a 10-inch subwoofer, and detachable rear speakers.
It delivers 960W of output and supports true Dolby Atmos, making it a powerful yet compact choice for smaller living rooms.
JBL Bar 800MK2
Designed for tighter spaces, the JBL Bar 800MK2 retains the 10-inch subwoofer and detachable wireless speakers but removes up-firing drivers.
It outputs 780W and supports virtual Dolby Atmos, delivering an immersive experience without overhead channels.
JBL Bar 500MK2 & 300MK2
The two entry-level models, ideal for first-time homeowners, focus on affordability while still offering impressive sound.
